“Dawson’s Creek” star James Van Der Beek and his wife Kimberly Brook have confirmed they welcomed their second child, a healthy baby boy on Tuesday (March 13).

The 35 year-old actor announced the good news on Twitter. “Had my first son this morning… well, actually, my wife had him. I just caught him. Wow. Heart expanding way faster than my brain…” he tweeted.

Later James added, “If you could bottle up and distribute this feeling, I swear there’d be no more war. #fatherhood”

James Van Der Beek Introduces Baby Daughter, Olivia

Kimberly and James tied the knot in August 2010. They already have a 17 month-old daughter named Olivia. James was previously married to actress Heather McComb for almost seven years.
