Is love in the air on the eleventh season of Idol? Colton and Skylar would make such a beautiful couple. However, the 18 year-old country singer quickly shot down (sic) the rumors by announcing she is currently taken by her boyfriend, a guy named Joseph.

Skylar told People, “I do have a boyfriend – his name is Joseph – but Colton is my buddy and I love Colton so much. Twitter has been blowing up about us dating. When asked about what Joseph thinks about the rumors she and Colton are actually dating, she said, “I don’t even think he notices.”

Oh, I bet he notices. I could even bet Joseph is not happy about Colton and Skylar’s insane chemistry on stage. We will see if Skylar’s relationship is strong enough to survive the Idol experience.
