Florida authorities have charged George Zimmerman with 2nd Degree Murder for the killing of 17-year old Trayvon Martin on February 26, 2012 in Sanford, Florida.

Zimmerman will plead not guilty according to his lawyer and claims that the killing of Martin was in self defense after the teen attacked him.

Zimmerman was a neighborhood watchman for a gated community in Florida.

There has been a national outcry on Facebook, Twitter, and the national news for Zimmerman to be arrested and charged with Martin’s murder.
