Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo and his wife Candice Crawford have welcomed their first child, a healthy baby boy named Hawkins Crawford Romo, at around 5:30 p.m. on Monday (April 9).

“Hawkins Crawford Romo is now a part of the Dallas Cowboys family,” spokesperson for the NFL team Rich Dalrymple said in a statement. “He came into this world on 4/9/12 at 5:30 p.m., 8 lbs. and 8 oz. All is well with mom.”

Jessica Simpson’s ex and Candice, who got married in May of 2011, announced they were expecting in October.

Guess who else is over the moon with the arrival of baby Hawkins? Uncle Chace Crawford! The Gossip Girl actor was reportedly at the hospital when his sister gave birth.
