Dick Clark Dies at 82
Entertainment icon Dick Clark, who was most famous for hosting gigs like “American Bandstand” and “New Year’s Rockin’ Eve,” died Wednesday morning after suffering a massive heart attack.
According to his rep, the 82-year-old television producer was in St. John’s Hospital in Los Angeles last night for an outpatient procedure. The heart attack took place after the procedure. Attempts to resuscitate him were unsuccessful.
Clark is survived by his wife Kari Wigton.
RIP, Dick Clark.
