If you thought Charlie Sheen’s abrupt departure dictated the end of “Two and a Half Men,” you were deadly wrong. CBS has renewed the show starring Ashton Kutcher, Jon Cryer and Angus T. Jones for a new season, its tenth season (2012 – 2013).
“Two and a Half Men” is averaging 15 million viewers. After Charlie was fired during Season 8, the show showed suffered a ratings surge with Ashton’s first episode grabbing 28.7 million viewers back in September of 2011.
With its renewal, the “Two and a Half Men” stars are also earning “small” raises. Ashton is now making between $700,000 to $725,000 per episode, while Angus earns about half of that amount.
“Two and a Half Men” is currently the #3 primetime comedy on TV behind “The Big Bang Theory” (CBS) and “Modern Family” (ABC).
