“Swamp People” star Mitchell Guist, an infamous alligator hunter, sadly passed away at around 9 a.m. in St. Martin Parish, Louisiana on Monday (May 14). The reality star was on board of his boat along the Belle River when he fell after suffering some kind of seizure.

Another person on the boat immediately called 911 and brought the boat back to dock. Meanwhile, someone attempted to perform CPR, and when paramedics arrived, Mitchell was promptly taken to a nearby hospital. Unfortunately, Mitchell was pronounced dead on arrival.
