“Terminator 3” actor Nick Stahl has reportedly contacted friends to apologize for disappearing and let them know he is okay, promising to check himself into rehab after his wife Rose Stahl reported him missing on Monday (May 14).

In the emotional e-mail sent at 10 pm on Friday (May 18), Nick informed he was about to enter a 30-day rehab program at an undisclosed location. The e-mail was not sent to his wife, who confessed she feared her husband might die from an overdose.

Rose discovered the e-mail because she has access to his e-mail account. “I’m relieved. But I’m also skeptical that he really in rehab,” she said since the e-mail offered no insight into the reasons why Nick would disappear to get treatment.

The authorities are still investigating the case since the e-mail is not enough to close the case. Until they can find out the actor’s whereabouts, he continues to be a missing person.
