Ryan and Emily’s date takes place in her kitchen – the two cook and bake together before Ryan has some sort of epiphany and realizes that that is what normal life could be like if the single mom chose him. Ryan thinks this idea is very romantic. Aw.

“I get to bake? Awesome!” says Ryan. “You don’t watch The Bachelor and think that you’re going to be cooking, but I’m willing to do just about anything for Emily.”
“We’re hanging out in her kitchen and I’m thinking that this is exactly what life could be like if I was a part of her life,” he later reasoned. “I could step in and be a part of what she does every day. There’s romance in that.”

Ryan was happy and Emily was certainly impressed by his skills in the kitchen. But it’s time to move on. Emily has to go on another one-on-one date with Joe Gendreau at the Greenbrier Resort, and a group date with the Muppets and her 6 year-old daughter Ricki.
