Remember Bentley Williams? The 28 year-old investment banker who did not even attempt to hide his disappointment when he arrived at the Bachelorette mansion to find out he would be vying for the heart of Ashley Hebert and not Emily Maynard on the seventh season of “The Bachelorette.â€
Could Bentley be back to try to conquer Emily’s heart? Never say never, but it’s not likely since the new Bachelorette herself is not exactly a fan of “Bad News Bentley,†who became the villain of the last season of the ABC’s dating show.
In fact, Emily confessed that when her contestant Kalon McMahon made his big entrance in a helicopter she feared it might have been Bentley or worse… her former fiancé Brad Womack.
“I definitely thought it was going to be Brad or Bentley getting out of the helicopter,” she revealed. “I just thought there is no way some random guy would make an entrance so gigantic. I was stressing out a little bit to be honest, waiting for whomever to get out of the helicopter.”
“I don’t know how I would have reacted to be honest,” Emily said. “I tried to stay open to everything and I’m just really glad that everybody I met the first night was a fresh face and someone that I had never met before.”
Fortunately or unfortunately, Bentley and Brad did not arrive to try to sweep Emily off her feet, instead she met a brand new villain known as obnoxious Kalon, who is set to bring the bachelorette a lot of headaches and heartaches in the future.
