Clint Eastwood’s daughter, Francesca Eastwood, is currently the target of Twitter hate, which includes injurious comments and death threats, after she shamelessly destroyed a $100,000 red crocodile Birkin bag in a new photo shoot for her boyfriend Tyler Shields.

Apparently, Tyler and Francesca don’t know what to do with their money, so instead of donating and feeding the poor, they decided to set a God-awful expensive bag on fire. Fashionistas all over the world cringe at those artsy pictures of a Birkin being abused.

The 19 year-old was on the receiving end of some very angry messages and death threats over Twitter and Facebook. E.g.:

“Some of us actually have to work and live check 2 check, spoiled rotten b*tch to burn 100k bag.”

“You’re a stupid wh*re. How f***ing dumb can you be.”

“You should kill urself, ungrateful b*tch – wasted money when families can’t eat.”

Fashion abuse? Capitalist barbarism? Form of art? Whatever you want to call it. I, personally, believe people are allowed to do whatever they please with their money whether I agree with it or not. Aren’t we all sometimes guilty of wasting money in the stupidest things instead of lending a helping hand to those in need?

If they really wanted to stir controversy and make people talk about important subjects, I’d say mission accomplished. And that is what art is all about. Anyway, if you think what they did is so wrong, you should ask yourself why would anyone ever need such an expensive bag.
