Actress Gwnyneth Paltrow used the n-word in one of her tweets live from the stage of one of Jay-Z and Kanye West’s “Watch The Throne†shows in Paris, France on Friday (June 1).
The 39 year-old posted a picture of herself on stage with the caption, “Ni**as in paris for real.†Yeah! Fun. Then, everybody got really upset because Gwyneth used the n-word to describe the rappers.
However, that’s what they call themselves in one of their infamous and very popular songs. So what’s wrong with Gwyneth using the word too? She explained, “Hold up. It’s the title of the song!â€
And we are back to discussing who is allowed to say the n-word and in what circumstances they are allowed to say it. It sounds pretty hypocritical to me. Did I mention that Jay-Z and Kanye are the genius minds (*sarcasm*) behind a song titled “N***as In Paris
So is okay for Gwyneth Paltrow to tweet the n-word? Or is it racist?
