In an intimate interview for The Conversation with Amanda Cadenet, actress Connie Britton revealed she currently has no sex life because she is far too busy being a mother to a adopted Ethiopian baby boy named Yoby, as well as her new show Nashville.

“I have no sex life right now. I keep thinking about how I could do it, how I could pull it off. I’m just talking about how I get laid while I have a baby,” Connie laughed.

Connie expected to have gone through the difficult adoption process with a man by her side, but she couldn’t wait any longer to start a family. The good thing about not being in a stable relationship with a man is the fact that she can spend most of her time with her little boy.

“There was a lot of grief about having not started this journey with the man who was going to be my partner. I anticipate finishing it with a man who’s going to be my partner,” Britton said. “I definitely had to grieve that, but I also didn’t want to wait anymore. I absolutely know that this was something that I want for my life, and I’m really fortunate. . . and I feel like I can do it.”

The American Horror Story star might not have a partner or a sex life, but she sure sounds happy. Motherhood certainly looks good on her and she could not be more in love with her miracle.

“I do very strongly believe that he and I did choose each other,” she said, smiling. “I think that’s really true with adopted children. I know that he is my son.”
