Here’s Angelina Jolie looking rather ravishing as Maleficent, the villain from the 1959 classic Sleeping Beauty, with horns, contacts, blood red lips and cheek prosthetics, in the first official picture from the upcoming movie.

The movie, also starring Elle Fanning, Imelda Staunton, Miranda Richardson and Sharlto Copley, tells the untold story of Disney’s most beloved villain, revealing the events that hardened her heart and drove her to curse baby Aurora.

“Maleficent,” directed by Robert Stromberg, has just started production and is expected to hit theaters on March 14, 2014.
