Music star Usher‘s 11-year-old stepson Kyle Glover has been declared brain dead by doctors after he was accidentally struck by a jet ski Saturday.

Kyle, the son of Usher’s ex-wife Tameka Foster, “was riding an inner tube on Lake Lanier in Atlanta, GA on Saturday when a jetskier hit him — striking him in the head and knocking him unconscious,” according to reports. He was airlifted to a nearby hospital, but has not registered any brain activity since being admitted.

Usher, who divorced Foster in 2009 after two years of marriage, reportedly rushed to the family’s side Sunday night.

In addition to Kyle, from Foster’s previous relationship, the divorced couple share sons Usher Raymond V, 4, and Naviyd, 3.
