Katie Holmes reportedly used a disposable phone to secretly plan out her divorce from actor Tom Cruise.

Holmes used the cell phone, which was ”provided by a friend,” to hire three law firms in three different states without her husband and his team of lawyers finding out about her plan to end their marriage of five years.

The 33-year-old managed to pull off the stunt, catching Cruise, 50, off guard when she filed her papers on June 28.

“She pulled it off brilliantly,” an insider told reporters. ”This was all played so well.”
