Journalist Katie Couric has reportedly been dating financier John Molner for several months.

Couric, 55, who has a new talk show debuting in September, and Molner, 49, head of mergers and acquisitions at investment bank and securities firm Brown Brothers Harriman, made a public appearance together on July 28 at the Ellen Hermanson Breast Cancer Benefit.

“Katie looked better than ever and, clearly in love, did her best to keep her relationship with John low-key. She was careful not to be photographed with him, but they were clearly together,” a guest told reporters. “They looked good together and other guests remarked that he seemed a more age-appropriate match.”

A witness said the two ”were kissing in the driveway before driving away together.”

Couric has two daughters Ellie, 21, and Carrie, 16, with her late husband, Jay Monahan, who died of colon cancer in 1998. She began dating Brooks Perlin, who is 17 years her junior, in 2006. The couple split in December 2011.
