Natalie Portman wed her fiance, and father to son Aleph, Benjamin Millepied this weekend on the Big Sur coast in California. And the ceremony was not only unique to the bride’s Jewish faith and the groom’s French nationality, but also their vegan, organic, hippie, tree-huggin’ ways.

Natalie Portman & Benjamin Millepied Secretly Married

The menu was strictly vegan, and featured French macaroons in place of a traditional wedding cake. Instead of flying flowers in, the couple opted to use wildflowers from the coast.

Portman, 31, wore a Rodarte gown and donned a crown of white wildflowers. Millepied, 35, wore a midnight blue tux.
