Olympic gold medalist Kerri Walsh Jennings announced on the TODAY show Monday morning that she’s expecting. Oh, and that she was five weeks along during the London Olympics!

“When I was throwing my body around fearlessly, and going for gold for our country, I was pregnant, and today I’m 11 weeks pregnant,” Kerri told Matt Lauer.

The 34-year-old didn’t know she was pregnant during the beach volleyball games she played with her partner Misty May-Treanor, but she did say she noticed some differences in her demeanor. ”I’m a pretty happy girl and I was unreasonably moody,” she said.

“This little one is kicking my butt! The first two were pretty easy, but with this one, I’m sick every day, I’ve got some awesome acne, I just feel different,” she said of her pregnancy.

Kerri and her husband Casey Jennings are already parents to sons Joey, 3, and Sundance, 2.
