The Beach Boys have had their spats over the years, but most of us hoped those were a thing of the past.

Not so fast my friend….

The musical genius known as Brian Wilson along with fellow bandmates Al Jardine and David Marks have been fired from the band by Mike Love.

Love owns the name ‘The Beach Boys’ due to litigation from a few years back.

The news came as a shock to Wilson, “I’m disappointed and can’t understand why he (Love) doesn’t want to tour with Al, David and me. We are out here having so much fun. After all, we are the real Beach Boys.”

Love plans to continue playing as The Beach Boys with Bruce Johnson and a backup band that could possibly include 80′s TV hunk John Stamos.

Love claims that the 50th Anniversary shows were a set with a start and end date.  The confusing part is that the 50th Anniversary Tour still has a few dates remaining…talk about awkward.

The ‘Boys’ reunited for it’s 50th anniversary at the Grammys back in February.
