Lindsay Lohan was reportedly assaulted inside her New York City hotel room.

While out partying at 1Oak club on the Saturday night, the actress met a 25-year-old man named Christian LaBella, whom she invited back to her room at the W Hotel.

The two got in a argument after Lohan discovered that LaBella had taken photos of her on his cell phone. She took the phone from him and when he proceeded to punch and choke her. Police sources say she ran from her room, pulling the fire alarm to alert security.

LaBella was charged with assault and harassment on Sunday. “Police were called to the W Hotel, following a phone call for assault. We took the man into custody shortly after 6 a.m. and he was charged this afternoon,” the New York City Police Department confirmed. After further investigation, the charges with dropped against LaBella. He has now filed a harassment complaint against Lohan.

“Lindsay was assaulted early this morning in a New York hotel. While she did sustain some injuries, she was not hospitalized,” the 26-year-old’s rep told reporters. “Lindsay has spoken with police and is fully cooperating with the investigation.”
