Chevy Chase Has Racist Outburst on ‘Community’ Set
Actor Chevy Chase reportedly had a racist outburst Friday on the set of his NBC comedy Community.
An inside source said Chase, who plays a bigoted character on the series, went off because he was “frustrated with the direction his character is going in and the offensive lines he had to say in a scene.” He said his character, Pierce Hawthorne, would eventually end up calling two of the black characters on the show, played by Yvette Nicole Brown and Donald Glover, ”n***ers”.

The comments supposedly upset the actors, as it should’ve, and Chase later apologized on set.
The 69-year-old has been vocal about his frustration with the show, going as far as to tell reporters a few weeks ago that joining the series was a “big mistake.”
Douche bag.
