Country singer Taylor Swift and her boyfriend Conor Kennedy, son of Robert F. Kennedy and the late Mary Kennedy, have ended their whirlwind romance, a source close to Swift told reporters.

“They quietly parted ways a while ago. It was just a distance thing. No hard feelings. They’re fine,” the insider said about the 22-year-old and the 18-year-old high school senior.

Swift’s new album Red was released this week and has already reached record-breaking sales.

“It’s been over a month since they’ve even seen each other,” the friend explained. “With her promotion for Red, she has no time off until the end of the year.”
