Despite leaving empty-handed, country star Taylor Swift entertained the crowd with a performance of her single “Begin Again” during the 2012 CMA Awards held at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee on Thursday (November 1)- watch video below.

The 22 year-old, whose new album “Red” achieved the highest sales week since 2002, was nominated for categories like Musical Event of the Year, Female Vocalist of the Year and Entertainer of the Year, but lost to Tim McGraw, Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton, respectively.

“Begin Again” is the second single out of Taylor’s fourth studio album “Red.”
