Kim Kardashian tried to get in the good graces of the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, while working in London by sending over a few pieces from her European Kardashian Kollection. Unfortunately for the reality star, Middleton reportedly rejected the clothes and had them sent back to their supplier, Dorothy Perkins.

According to The Examiner, a source close to Middleton said she wouldn’t wear the clothes. “Kate is hardly going to turn up for an event with the Queen in a cheap leopard-print miniskirt or gold sequinned jacket,” they said. The source also added that the Duchess had turned down the Kardashian sisters’ invitation to tea.

Kardashian insiders dismissed the claims, saying the sisters never sent over the designs or planned to meet with her.

“Kim was working the whole time and though she admires Kate, she didn’t reach out to her,” the insider said.
