An “insider” has confirmed that country superstar Taylor Swift penned the song “All Too Well” on her new album Red about her past relationship with actor Jake Gyllenhaal.

The 22-year-old briefly dated Gyllenhaal, 31, two years ago. In the song, she describes spending Thanksgiving at his sister, Maggie Gyllenhaal‘s home in Brooklyn.

She goes on to talk about a black and white striped scarf that both she and Gyllenhaal were photographed wearing. ”Left my scarf there at your sister’s house / And you still got it in your drawer,” Swift’s lyrics read.

Swift and Gyllenhaal ended their relationship around Christmas 2010, when he called and broke up with her over the phone.

This crap is getting old. She needs to start drinking about blowing stuff up like Miranda Lambert.
