Backstreet Boy A.J. McLean and his wife Rochelle welcomed a baby girl named Ava Jaymes Tuesday, Nov. 27, in Los Angeles, the singer has confirmed.

“Rochelle and I are thrilled to announce the birth of our baby,” McLean, 34, wrote on his website. “She arrived at 4:51 a.m. weighing 7 lbs., 7 oz. We are so in love with our bundle of joy and happy to have started our family now.”

Rochelle took to Twitter Saturday, her due date, to encourage her little girl to make her debut. “Come on AVA!!! It never takes Mommy this long to get ready!” she wrote. “Being punctual is a great quality to have!! Now come out so we can see you!!”
