Olympic soccer player Hope Solo‘s husband, NFL player Jerramy Stevens, was arrested Wednesday in Tampa, Fla. for violating his probation from an arrest in October 2010 for marijuana possession. This is the second time the football player has been arrested this month.

Stevens probation violation “stemmed” from his arrest for fourth-degree assault on his then fiance Solo earlier this month. The charges were dropped and Stevens married Solo one day later.

Tuesday, Solo spoke to the press about the arrests for the first time: ”It’s unfortunate what the media can do to really judge before the facts are out there. It’s hard to see, but it’s a hard truth and it’s part of life, she said. “I’m happy. I’m happily married. We never stand for domestic violence. I’ve never been hit in my life. It’s unfortunate, and that’s what the media can do.”

Stevens is currently in jail. No bond has been set.
