South Carolina Gamecocks defensive end Jadeveon Clowney had such a monster hit earlier today in the Outback Bowl that he will forever go down in college football lore.
It all took place in the 4th quarter after the referees botched a 1st down measurement, incorrectly giving the Michigan Wolverines a 1st down when it was clear they were short of the sticks.
On the very next play Clowney busted through the Michigan offensive line and obliterated Wolverines running back Vincent Smith, knocking his helmet off flying and causing a fumble that he recovered left handed with a swift baby scoop.
The play lit up social media and has already be created into several GIF’s by college football loving SEC fans.
Many predict Clowney will be the first overall pick in next year’s NFL Draft when he becomes eligible to enter it.
