Doug Reinhardt and Allie Lutz, who both appeared on the MTV reality show The Hills, are engaged to marry.

Lutz, a University of Southern California graduate who famously argued with Kristin Cavallari over Brody Jenner on the reality show, announced the news on her Twitter. ”Cat’s out of the bag,” she wrote. The two are currently vacationing together in Anguilla.

The 28-year-old Reinhardt was raised in Laguna Beach, Calif., and previously dated his Hills costar Lauren Conrad. He was later linked to actress Amanda Bynes, socialite Paris Hilton and former Miss USA Rima Fakih.

Reinhardt played for the Los Angeles Angels and the Baltimore Orioles.
