A.J. McCarron’s girlfriend Katherine Webb was almost as big of a story on Monday night as McCarron’s Alabama Crimson Tide dominating the Notre Dame Fighting Irish 42-14 in the BCS National Championship game.

The internet fury was lit ablaze when ESPN/ABC announcer Brent Musburger slobbered all over himself when Web (VIDE) was shown on the TV monitors along with McCarron’s mom.

Webb is the current Miss Alabama USA 2012 and looks to have a nice modeling career ahead of her. Several pro athletes including LeBron James and Darnell Dockett started following her during the game and/or sending their digits to Webb.
