Music mogul Clive Davis revealed that he’s bisexual in his new memoir The Soundtrack of My Life.

The 80-year-old details his first encounter with a male in the book, and also claims that he had a “monogamous long-term relationship with an unnamed male doctor” for 15 years. The relationship ended in 2004.

In an excerpt obtained by Rolling Stone, Davis, who is twice-divorced, talks about the first time he experimented with a male during the era of Studio 54.

“On this night, after imbibing enough alcohol, I was open to responding to his sexual overtures,” he writes. “Was I nervous? Absolutely. Did the heavens open up? No. But it was satisfying.”

I’m not surprised he put this in his memoir. The man can sell the heck out of some records, so he certainly knows how to sell a book.
