American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert cannot shut up and stop talking about his sexuality. Adam, who came out of the closet for Rolling Stone, will not stop talking about how women are so intriguing to him – he likes to kiss them, touch them, even lick them but he is TOTALLY gay! He sure knows who he is! Or maybe not!

Adam, who recently broke up with his longtime boyfriend Adam LaBry, was nominated ‘Breakout Of The Year’ in the special December issue of OUT Magazine, which celebrates the top 100 most famous and extraordinary lesbians and gays of the year. Here are some highlights from Adam Lambert’s OUT interview:

On trying to perform oral sex on a woman: “It was a little gross because I don’t think she was as clean as she could’ve been. It wasn’t the act of it that really turned me off. I don’t really remember. I was 18 and I was drunk. Or maybe I was 17… The point of the matter is that I would not rule it out. The idea is intriguing.”

On fame: “I’m doing the best I f-cking can, you know? I’m the same guy doing the same thing on a larger. I’ve always been an entertainer. Fame doesn’t freak me out, and I can handle it. But sometimes out in public there are people that just are so rude. Like, people are really cool about it and they’ll come up to you and they’re just like, “Oh hey man, I really liked you.” It’s brief, it’s sweet, it’s genuine. But some people freak out. And I’m like, why are you freaking out? I don’t get that mentality. I’ve never felt like that about a celebrity before — except maybe Madonna. When I met Madonna my heart was racing. That’s my one experience being star-struck. And I told her, ‘I’m freaking out.’ And she said, ‘Why?’ And I said, ‘Because you’re f—ing Madonna.’”

On American Idol: “I’ve lived in L.A. for eight years… It’s about making a good TV show. I just wanted to be really careful that it didn’t turn into a f-cking pageant. I can sing my face off. All this other stuff is part of a personality, a persona.”

On announcing he was gay: “I didn’t want to acknowledge it as a mistake or something I was ashamed of—I’m not. It’s part of who I am, but because our nation is the way it is, it’s an announcement. If I lose some fans, f-ck it. I need to be happy too.”

On relationships: “I’ve only been in love twice. I have a lot of life experience, but I don’t know sh-t about love.”

On sexuality: “To some people, me being sexual is really offensive because I’m gay. They’re like, ‘He’s being really gay.’ And I’m like, actually, ‘No, I’m just being sexual.’ Male sexuality is frightening to America [but] female sexuality is all over the place.”

American Idol Adam Lambert reportedly started dating pop singer/songwriter Ferras Alqaisi shortly after dumping his old boyfriend Drake LaBry (photos). The reason for the surprising break up might have been Adam blossoming relationship with Ferras, who helped him with his debut album ‘For Your Entertainment’ (check FYE horrible album cover).

“Ferras helped Adam work on his new album, For Your Entertainment,” the friend says. “They have a lot in common, so I’m not surprised Adam started falling for him.”

Adam and Ferras were seen and photographed together at a party last month and they allegedly spent Halloween night together at a private party in Los Angeles. Poor Drake was shocked with the end of their relationship - he had no clue!

American Idol Adam Lambert and his interior designer boyfriend Drake LaBry reportedly decided to call it quits but still remain good friends. The news quickly spread on Twitter when one of Adam’s ‘friends’ told the whole world, “Adam Lambert is single!”

Another source told JJ, “The relationship just ran its course. The break-up was mutual and amicable. They remain friends and still care for each other.”

Adam’s debut album is coming out soon and he needs to be available to appear more attractive to both genders. Yes, it is clear Adam gave girls a big wink when he posed for a racy photo shoot with a nude model and confessed to enjoy kissing girls in the latest issue of Details Magazine (NSFW photos).

American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert released a new music video for the single “Time For Miracles”, which will be featured in the movie “2012” soundtrack. The song will be included in Adam’s debut album “For Your Entertainment” but is not the official first single.

The 27 year-old recently posed for a racy photo shoot with a nude model for Details Magazine (slightly NSFW photos) and is getting ready for the release of his album on November 23, 2009.

Adam talks about being a sex symbol and being the object of many women’s fantasies, which is just part of the job. The AI runner-up also admits it’s flattering having girls throwing her bras at him and confesses he likes to kiss pretty women… we wonder what his boyfriend Drake LaBry (photos) thinks about this!?!

On kissing women: “I am gay, but I like kissing women sometimes. Women are pretty. It doesn’t mean I’m necessarily sleeping with them.”

On bras being thrown at him onstage: “I think it’s weird that I’m having this effect on women. It’s flattering. I’ve never had underwear thrown at me before. Clearly there’s something significant about it, because there aren’t a lot of openly gay men in the entertainment industry.”

On comparing himself to Brad Pitt: “I don’t see how all this is any different than — let’s take a modern sex symbol like Brad Pitt. How many of these women who fantasize about him actually get to sleep with him?… It’s all fantasy — that’s what entertainment is. I’m here to entertain you, and if my sexuality is apparent and you respond to it, and you’re attracted to it, then great, I’m doing my job. It ain’t happening anyway!”

American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert graces the cover of the latest issue of Rolling Stone Magazine. As expected Adam reveals to be proudly gay: “I don’t think it should be a surprise for anyone to hear I’m gay. I’ve been living in Los Angeles for eight years as a gay man. I’ve been at clubs drunk making out with somebody in the corner.”

Adam does not mention his boyfriend Drake LaBry (photos), which is a bit disappointing since I was waiting for an emotional love confession. Here are some highlights from Adam Lambert’s Rolling Stone interview:

On getting out of the closet for Rolling Stone: “Right after the finale, I almost started talking about it to the reporters, but I thought, ‘I’m going to wait for Rolling Stone, that will be cooler. I’m proud of my sexuality.”

On being stereotyped: “Clay Aiken’s gay, and I’m gay, and we couldn’t be more different. The only thing that is the same about everyone in the gay community is that we’re gay. … Why can’t we talk about a human community?”

Adam’s secret crush on Kris Allen: “They put me with the cute guy. Distracting! He’s the one guy I found attractive in the whole group on the show: nice, nonchalant, pretty and totally my type — except that he has a wife. I mean he’s open-minded and liberal, but he’s definitely 100% straight.”

UPDATE: Adam Lambert “I’m Gay!” Rolling Stone Cover

American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert has done nothing to end the speculation about his sexual orientation but the announcement that he is, in fact gay, is expected soon. Judge Kara DioGuardi basically just outed Adam on a recent visit to “The View”.

Adam admits he isn’t upset about Kara’s comments on his sexuality, saying: “Their asking the same questions everyone else is asking and Kara was just being honest, she’s a good friend of mine now that we’ve recorded together and I don’t think she did anything wrong.” Yep, I think that means Kara is right and Adam couldn’t care less…

When asked about his relationship with alleged boyfriend Drake LaBry, who he was recently seen holding hands with (photos here), Adam refused to answer. We expect Adam to fully come out of the right open closet in the upcoming issue of Rolling Stone Magazine.

Adam on his Rolling Stone cover: “With the rolling stone cover I am going to be talking about a lot of things that people have had questions about so…I think that will be nice I think we can move forward and well all look forward to the album together.”

We can wait to see Adam on the cover of Rolling Stone! I think it will be pretty interesting reading what he has to say about his sexuality and how/if it affected the American Idol outcome.

American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert naturally came out of the closet by leaving the Guys and Dolls nightclub holding hands with his super hot boyfriend, Drake LaBry (photo), on Monday (June 1).

Adam’s sexual orientation has been subject of gossip since the first photos of him dressed in drag and kissing a guy came out (photos here) but he always refused to comment. Kara DioGuardi claims Adam’s sexuality was never a secret: “I don’t think that Adam was ever in [the closet]. I think he was always openly out.”

Glambert is expected to declare his love for boyfriend Drake in the upcoming issue of Rolling Stone Magazine.

American Idol winner Kris Allen and runner-up Adam Lambert appeared together this morning on the Today Show.  They discussed many topics, including their friendship, and how the AT&T voting scandal wasn’t really even a scandal.

It seems like Adam Lambert doesn’t get any love from American Idol season three runner-up Clay Aiken! You would think Clay, who came out of the closet and knows exactly how hard it is to be a gay ‘Idol’, would be a bit more compassionate…

In a recent blog post titled “Silence broken”, Clay says Adam was awful, frightening and made his ears bleed. Clay, that is not a nice thing to say about a fellow ‘Idol’!!

Clay wrote: “Now that it’s all over, and for the record…. I couldn’t be happier about the way AI ended this year. I only turn the show on once a season, and only to see what the set looks like each year. This year, I happened to turn it during the minute that Adam Lambert was singing ‘Ring of Fire’ and, at that moment, thought my ears would bleed. Contrived, awful, and slightly frightening!”

“I wasn’t really a fan and found myself surprised whenever folks told me that they liked him. Granted, I never saw another performance (and many folks who I trust said that he was great) but I can’t imagine I would have enjoyed it. Just not my cup of tea at all.”

“I never saw Kris sing on the show, but whether he was good or not is really relative. It’s usually a matter of taste, right? But Idol is not always a matter of musical taste only. It’s about the person you like. From what little I saw, Kris seemed likable. (That’s not to say that Adam isn’t just as likable as anyone.. maybe more so… I don’t know).”

If you don’t have something nice to say just shut up! I bet Clay is totally jealous “American Idol” finally has a cute gay guy with some talent on the show! It seems like Clay might also be bitter for being denied a duet with the same frightening Adam Lambert.

Many pundits were surprised with the American Idol results on Wednesday when it was announced that Kris Allen had defeated Adam Lambert to take home the title. Well, it is starting to be leaked out that the results weren’t really that close and that Kris beat Adam rather handily.

A top FOX source told Access Hollywood that the vote left Kris as the clear winner by a large margin.

Allen’s win came as no surprise to me, and I actually predicted it several days before, but I am surprised he won by a large margin.  Both contestants will be remembered for their amazing vocals and talent.  Lambert and Allen are both going to have very successful careers and make a lot of money.

I am sure Adam’s pride was hurt by not winning.  He is obviously a very competitive person, but he now is on the verge dominating a music industry that has become very weak in recent years.

Tonight the 8th season of American Idol came to an end with the crowning of a new winner after several months of auditions, performances, and eliminations.

All of the top 13 appeared in white to sing Pink’s song ‘So What’. Once again, I believe the stylists for this show should be fired and reassigned to the nearest Marshall’s or Belk.

As usual there was a ton of filler and performances before we find out who had won between Adam Lambert and Kris Allen.

Season 7 winner David Cook, wearing a black armband in memory of his brother who recently passed away this year after a 11 year battle with brain cancer, sang his new song ‘Permanent.’  The song was a touching and very moving tribute to his late brother, Adam Cook.

Golden Idol Awards

Outstanding Male - Nick Mitchell (Norman Gentle) - The talented comedic singer took the stage and performed a funny impromptu, not so impromptu performance by Nicky.

Outstanding Female - Tatiano Nicole Del Toro - One of the craziest contestants in American Idol history.  Tatiano rushed the stage (staged) and past security to sing part of one of her favorite songs for the fourth time for the judges.

Best Attitude - Katrina Darrell - Katrina, known as Bikini Girl (pics), showed up every more flashing, popping and with a Boom Boom Pow boob job.  Idol judge Kara DioGuardi, whom Katrina dogged for not being able to sing during her audition, joined her at the end of her performance to show that she can in fact sing pretty darn good.  Kara even was donning a bikini under her dress but made sure to keep it covered as best she could. These photos show that Kara has a very sexy and toned bikini body.  Katrina still managed to give her a few dirty looks and eye her body as to say ‘whatever!’

We were next treated to Memphis born Lil Rounds singing the duet ‘Que the Rain’ with the great Queen Latifah, who was dressed in spandex from head-to-toe and looked like a svete 2009 version of the California Raisins.

Season 8 contestants Anoop Desai and Alexis Grace sang a brief intro Jason Mraz’s ‘I’m Yours.’  The rest of final 13 contestants chipped in a bit on the song at the end.  Even Michael Sarver got a bit of camera time.

The highlight of the night for me was Kris Allen joining one of my favorites, Keith Urban, on stage to perform Urban’s latest hit ‘Kiss a Girl.’  Keith is one of the nicest celebrities I have spent time with over the years.  Allen showed that he could possibly go the country route as well.  The performance was one of the more authentic true rock performances of the season.  It will be the most popular downloaded song on iTunes tomorrow.

The Idol finalists did a seductive performance of Fergie’s ‘Fabulous’ before introducing Fergie onstage to perform ‘Big Girls Don’t Cry.’  I had heard the song so much on Kidz Bop I was like what is she doing singing a kids song, but she is the reason it made it to Kidz Bop.    Fergie has great legs, but overall has some miles on her.

The Black Eyed Peas then joined Fergie to sing the horrific song that is comprised chiefly of ‘Boom Boom Pow.’  Fergie is talented and can really sing. I was not that impressed by the rest of the Peas. Either Fergie or the Peas did something vulgar, because Idol threw up their logo for about 10 seconds on the screen to censor them.

And that was just the first hour of the show….and now for the second act:

Blast from the past portion of the show teamed up 17-year old Allison Iraheta with Cyndi Lauper for ‘Time After Time.’  Lauper seemed to royally struggle with the lyrics of the show and start an Ozzfest mumbling and rambling job through her portion of the song.  For the record this song was recorded about 8 years before Iraheta was born.

As the free concert rolled on, semi-finalist Danny Gokey did his best impersonation of Lionel Richie on ‘Hello.’  Danny knocked it out of the park before Nicole Richie’s dad joined Gokey on stage for a soulful duet of medleys.  Lionel was pretty much on his game and come have only been better if he had his mid 80’s fro. Speaking of 80, I would put the odds at 80% that Paula Abdul rocked Lionel at some point in the late 80’s or early 90′

The big shock of the night was Adam Lambert dressed up with beaded shoulder like angel pads.  Oh my, then he introduced KISS….a FAVORITE and it easily became the best finale results show.  Adam went from singing ‘Beth’ to singing ‘Detroit Rock City’ with Kiss in full makeup.  This has to be the highlight of Adam’s life.  Adam’s outfit was extremely feminine, but he fit right in with Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Tommy Thayer, and Eric Singer.  They concluded the set with ‘Rock & Roll All Night.’

To calm things down after the powerful KISS performance the magic that is Carlos Santana took the stage to jam on the guitar, before having Matt Giruad join him for ‘Gypsy Woman.’  All of the final thirteen then joined Carlos on stage for his modern classic ‘Smooth.’

For the folk part of the song Steve Martin strummed the banjo as a bluegrass band played for Michael Sarver and Megan Corkey to sing along to ‘Pretty Flowers,’ a song Martin had written for his new album.   It was the most unique song of the night and was actually really good.

All of the Idol men did a snazzy version of ‘If You Think I’m Sexy’ and naturally they were joined by the dinosaur that is Rod Stewart (how old is he? age 64) and his hair piece for his own performance of ‘Maggie May.’  It is always impressive to see all of the veteran performers like Rod, KISS, etc. actually sing and perform their songs instead of lip sync like the younger generation.

The final performance of the night was yet another duet, but this time with Adam and Kris, singing Queen’s ‘We Are the Champions.’  This set up the big surprise of the night as the stage opened up, the dry ice cleared and the surviving members of Queen were backing the two finalists on drums, guitar, and bass.  The only thing missing from the performance were the late Freddie Mercury and the eccentric Axl Rose.

RESULTS: Kris Allen (100 million votes cast)

Runner Up: Adam Lambert

I predicted last week in my live blog after Danny Gokey was eliminated that I believed in the possibility of Allen pulling off the upset over Adam.

Next week should be very interesting with Allen and Lambert competing for the victory.  Lambert has a strong base and is very talented, but he is perhaps the most polarizing public figure since Hillary Clinton entered the public arena.

I predict most of Gokey’s supporters will turn over to and vote for Kris in the final and set up a potential David like upset against the Goliath of Lambert.

Fans of Lambert will cry and moan and make pledges to never watch the show again, but they shouldn’t be so extreme. Adam will have more freedom to do his own album and more control of his career.  Both Adam and Kris are going to be legitimate stars in the music business.

Major props to Kris Allen for overcoming the power of Lambert, the judges, and his own shyness to win the biggest reality TV contest in the world.

It was a lot of fun covering this season of American Idol as the final six contestants were the most talented since I started watching the show.

Adam Lambert - ‘Mad World’ - A lot of people like this song from ‘Birth Year’ week, but it is just not my speed.  It looks like they brought in some extra dry ice for Adam this week.  Thousands of EMO kids across the country are slicing their arms as he sings.  Elvira Presley was very solid with this song out of the gates.  I wish they didn’t do repeat songs, but it is a very good start for Adam.  Here starts the praise from the judges.  They even dressed u for Adam’s coronation.  Simon did forget to button nearly all the buttons on his shirt though.  Grade: A-

Kris Allen - ‘Ain’t No Sunshine’ - What no dry ice for Kris?  Bad decision to wear the vest.  Vests should only be worn by groomsmen at weddings and by crusty trial lawyers.  Kris was smart to start off behind the piano and show is diversity.  We know he will play the guitar on at least one of the other songs.  He has a lot of soul and might have actually been better tonight than when he originally sang this song.  Kris seems very calm, laid back, and is going to be tough to beat for Goliath.  Kara is driving me nuts though. I think Laura Watson would make a much better judge than the self serving DioGuardi.  Grade: A

Adam Lambert - ‘A Change Is Gonna Come’ - One of my favorite songs of all-time and the most popular song of the civil rights movement. A song written by the late Sam Cooke.  The lyrics of this song and Adam’s powerful voice are going to make him hard to beat in round number two.  He was doing good until he started screaming and screaching.  A very strong start and very glam finish which to me doesn’t match this song.  Overall a really good performance.  If you liked the song be sure to check out the original by Cooke.  Grade: A

Kris Allen - ‘What’s Going On’ - Again one of my favorite songs and perhaps the greatest song to come out of the 70’s.  A classic by Marvin Gaye.  Kris has a really good vibe going on this one.  Kris seems to have a more positive vibe about him than Elvira.  Wow, Kris is competing with Adam this round as well.  I am extremely impressed by Allen here and I am a huge fan of Marvin Gaye.  It is so hard to not hear that song and not picture Marvin dancing on stage.  Very close to Adam but maybe a bit short.   Grade: A-

Adam Lambert - ‘No Boundaries’ - Here is Kara DioGuardi’s song that both contestants are singing.  It reminds me a lot of Miley Cyrus’ ‘The Climb.’  I think they would have been better singing a Jonas Brothers song.  I really don’t have anything to say about that performance. I think Kris will do equally as bad on it.  Just a horrible song in my opinion.  Minus 2 points for the stone washed acid pants.  Kara is proud for getting a pay check for that mailed in song writing disaster.  It is hard to judge his performance on this one because no other human would touch that song.  We will see how well Allen does with it.  Oh and I just got a text message from a reader that believes I should change it from Elvira Presley to Elvira Prissley. . . lol   Grade: B

Kris Allen - ‘No Boundaries’ - Kris has almost trimmed his facial hair into a solo standing mustache plus 4 points.  This is still a really bad song. I swear it should have been the B-side to Extreme’s ‘More Than Words.’  Kris does seem to be a bit more raw and in effect adding a bit more balls to this song.  It might be enough to edge Elvira in round three.  Adam for sure had the unfair edge as both singers were lighted with Adam’s trademark pink.  I believe Kris was slightly better than Adam on this one I do believe.  Grade: B+

Overall Finals Results: Kris Allen 2-1 decision over Adam Lambert.

With that said I still believe Adam is the favorite to win the title.  As I have stated earlier this week, I believe Kris will take most of Danny Gokey’s voting base.  I am not sure if this will be enough to beat Elvira but it could be just what it takes to pull off the upset.

Both contestants are going to have a lot of success in the music industry regardless of the results tomorrow night.  it has been a fun season to cover and keep up with.

Carrie Underwood is closing the show live with her rendition of Motley Crue’s ‘Home Sweet Home’ from their 1985 album ‘Theatre of Pain.’  The producers of the show should have got Motley Crue to perform the song live or perhaps doing a duet with Underwood.
