Victoria’s Secret model Adriana Lima announced she and her husband, Serbian basketball player Marko Jaric, are expecting their second child together.

Lima and Jaric eloped on Valentine’s Day in 2009, and are already parents to a daughter, Valentina, 2.

In the commercial made to inspire men to buy women flowers for Valentine’s Day, Adriana says, “Guys, Valentine’s Day is not that complicated. Give and you shall receive.”

That’s very sexy. And sexist, according to some people who actually believe Valentine’s Day is supposed to be so much more than a business transaction. Flowers for sex might not even work for everyone, but I don’t get why the give/receive equation is so controversial.

Memphis Grizzlies star Marko Jaric and his super hot Victoria’s Secret Angel wife Adriana Lima welcomed their first child, a healthy baby girl named Valentina Lima Jaric in New York City on Sunday (November 15).

“Adriana and Marko are thrilled to announce they had a baby girl, Valentina Lima Jaric,” a rep for Lima told People. “Mother, father and baby are all doing well.”

Marko and Adriana met on 2006, dated for almost two years, got engaged on Adriana’s 27th birthday and finally tied the knot on Valentine’s Day 2009. The couple didn’t lose time and soon after the honeymoon announced they were thrilled to be expecting their first child together.

Victoria’s Secret supermodel Adriana Lima and NBA player Marko Jaric, of the Memphis Grizzlies, eloped and were secretly wed on Valentines day in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, according to People magazine.

“We are so excited about our future together,” says Lima. “And we are really looking forward to a big romantic wedding this summer with all of our friends and family.”

The pair, who want their next wedding celebration in Brazil or Jaric’s native Serbia, met in 2006 and were engaged last June on Lima’s 27th birthday.

I have seen the Memphis Grizzlies play several times a year and no matter how good or bad Jaric plays, I always think it can’t be that bad considering who he is going home to after the game.

The Minnesota Timberwolves Marko Jaric is dating Brazilian supermodel Adriana Lima.  Big J chartered a plane to fly down and see her overnight before her big Victoria’s Secret commercial debut during the Super Bowl.

Lima, a Brazilian native, is the star of the new Victoria’s Secret commercial that debuted on the Super Bowl.

The day before her ad premiered last weekend, “Marko chartered a plane to be with her on her big day,” says a source to People Magazine. “He flew in Saturday and flew back early Sunday morning so he could be on time for practice.”

Our generation has Marko and Adriana.  Yesteryear it was Marilyn Monroe and Joe Dimaggio.
