It’s official! Brady Bunch actor Christopher Knight and former America’s Next Top Model winner Adrianne Curry are divorcing.

The two announced their separation in May 2011, but Knight didn’t officially file divorce papers until August 19, citing ”irreconcilable differences.” According to their manager, ”the agreement for divorce was a mutual one, and yes, Adrianne knew that I was going to serve her with papers.”

Knight, 53, and Curry, 29, met in 2005 when they appeared on VH1′s reality show Surreal Life. They tied the knot one year later and even earned their own spin-off show, My Fair Brady.

Their rep said:

“The couple is still friends and the process thus far is very amiable. I again ask for everyone to respect their privacy as they work through this delicate period in their lives.”

This was the third marriage for Knight, who seems to be a real charmer, the first for Curry. Luckily, they didn’t have any children together.

America’s Next Top Model alum Adrianne Curry and her husband Christopher Knight, who tied the knot in a goth-themed wedding in 2006, announced they are currently officially separated on Sunday (May 29), the day they were suppose to celebrate their five-year anniversary. Q: What took them so long?

The couple’s rep/manager, Phil Viardo, told Hollyscoop in a statement:

“Actor Christopher Knight and his wife, model and television star Adrianne Curry have announced today on their five-year wedding anniversary that they are separating.”

“After starting a relationship with what seemed to be irreconcilable differences, the couple has reached a period where those differences are no longer appreciated. The decision was mutually reached after it became clear to both that some perspective was needed in order to assess their unique union. Not unlike all marriages, work must be put in.

“Obvious to both Knight and Curry was that their marriage would require more effort than a garden-variety relationship. They are taking time to see if they want to continue to put in that extraordinary effort. The couple has mutually determined that they are at a place where moving forward will require a step back. They still love one another but need some distance to consider their future.

“Both Knight and Curry decided to release this joint announcement today in order to preempt any potential rumors and gossip and ask that their fans and the media respect their privacy during this delicate period.”

The 53 year-old “Brady Bunch” actor and the 28 year-old model met and quickly started dating when they participated on VH1’s “The Surreal Life”. Their relationship earned them their own reality show called “My Fair Brady”, which followed their engagement, wedding, and the first year of their marriage.

Reality star wannabe/model Adrianne Curry went on an absolutely ridiculous and sad tirade on Twitter when she learned about actor Corey Haim’s tragic death of an accidental drug overdose earlier this morning (March 10).

Adrianne tweeted, “Corey Haim died.That is what happens when u cant grow the fuck up&kick the habit.sadly,most who start dont stop.A waste of beautiful life Drugs dont kill people,people kill themselves w/drugs..party in their teens&continue2do so through their 20′s and 30′s, leading2death”

“it is a disease that addicts go into KNOWINGLY, as a former addict, I find it hard to feel sorry for those making bad choices, “ she added. “People may think I am insensitive,but I have been there.Was selfish&didnt care who I hurt or what I destroyed..I only cared about ME&drugs”

Adrienne continued, “never bashed Corey’s character,just his decisions…He may have died naturally,but my opinion still applies to others using..period.. people are2kind2addicts,enabling them2death,like Anna Nicole. Stop celebrating trainwrecks.Start telling them what they dont wanna hear.”

Adrianne’s intentions might be good but now it’s not the time to point fingers, especially because Corey’s family and friends just suffered a great loss and nothing anyone can say will get him back. It was plain insensitive. Corey’s mom, who is reportedly fighting cancer, basically saw her son die today. We should all respect her and Corey’s memory!

Adrianne Curry, who won ‘America’s Next Top Model’ season one, is lashing out at the reality show and Revlon on her MySpace blog.

“We were told the winner would be an instant millionaire, that our faces would be plastered everywhere in Revlon ads. None of which turned out to be true … I still haven’t got paid for the work I did for them!” steamed Curry.

Miss Curry is super mad at the supermodel show, blasting them on her MySpace blog, saying “… they had no money … no clue what they were doing … all they had was mind f***ing us for good tv [sic].” Adrianne also claims that the girls hardly slept during filming, were kept hungry for long periods and were crammed into small quarters to guarantee drama. The Revlon campaign “turned out to be only a day’s work at a convention.” Not so fabulash!

Adrianne’s revelations are not surprising to me. Reality TV show producers are shady, manipulative, and often lie to get contestants to do what they want them to do.

The reality TV star married Christopher Knight of the Brady Bunch last year after meeting on the VH1 show The Surreal Life.
