Amy Winehouse‘s ex-husband Blake Civil-Fielder is currently on life support and in a medically-induced coma due to organ failure after a night of “heavy drinking and drugging,” according to reports.

The news comes just two weeks after the one-year anniversary of Winehouse’s death. The singer died in 2011 from accidental alcohol poisoning.

“The doctors say they don’t know the prognosis. They said they put him in a coma to help him and due to infection,” his girlfriend Sarah Aspin told reporters. The couple has a 15-month-old son together.

After hearing the news, Winehouse’s father, Mitch Winehouse, took to Twitter to express his support. ”Terrible news about Blake this morning. Remember Amy loved him. Let’s pray for his recovery.”

Fashion designer Jean Paul Gaultier was intending to honor the late Amy Winehouse by designing his collection around her iconic style, but instead received poor reviews from her family and critics, too.

“The family was upset to see those pictures,” Mitch Winehouse told reporters of seeing the photos of the show.“We’re still grieving for her loss, and we’ve had a difficult week with the six-month anniversary of Amy’s death.

I don’t see anything wrong with the look-a-likes, but I can see where it would upset the family.

It’s been determined that singer Amy Winehouse‘s cause of death was alcohol poisoning.

Amy Winehouse’s Toxicology Report: No Illegal Drugs Found

British coroner Suzanne Greenaway announced Wednesday that Winehouse’s death was the ”unintended consequence” of drinking too much alcohol.

The coroner said that Winehouse was five times over the legal limit. She ruled ”death by misadventure,” and said that two large bottles and one small bottle of vodka were found in the bedroom the singer’s London home.

After learning the cause of death was “alcohol toxicity,” her family released a statement:

“It is some relief to finally find out what happened to Amy. We understand there was alcohol in her system when she passed away; it is likely a build up of alcohol in her system over a number of days. The court heard that Amy was battling hard to conquer her problems with alcohol and it is a source of great pain to us that she could not win in time.”

While at the time they did the duet, he says that he had no idea how badly she was doing. But looking back, he does see the signs. It is so sad that she wasted her talent, but I do not know why nobody around her helped her more. She was clearly not okay. I do think she needlessly died, much like Michael Jackson did. It is a shame that they did not have people around them who cared more. The official cause of death is supposed to come out this month, but I do believe that her father has a point.
