A new opera, titled Anna Nicole and based on real-life drama queen Anna Nicole Smith, is set to premiere this Thursday at London’s Royal Opera House. Playing the title role of Anna is Dutch soprano Eva-Maria Westbroek (pictured above).

The musical masterpiece was written by Mark-Anthony Turnage, with the libretto by Richard Thomas, whose previous credits include Jerry Springer: the Opera. Let me say that if this show is anything like Jerry Springer: The Opera, which I adore, we’re in for a treat.

While no reviews have been released yet, the show looks like it’ll be a trip. It features characters such as her deceased son Daniel, her former partner Howard K. Stern (billed as “The Lawyer Stern”), as well as famous TV interviewer Larry King.

Psychiatrist Khristine Eroshevich and her internist Sandeep Kapoor are involved in a case of “pharmaceutical suicide” for prescribing a deadly mix of drugs to Anna Nicole Smith, which led to her tragic death.

Both Eroshevich and Kapoor are being prosecuted for their prescribing practices and for having sexual contact with a patient. Authorities found compromising photos and videos of the two with Anna Nicole, who had sought for their help to cope with her son David’s death.

Just days after her son David died, Eroshevich asked for two sedatives, 300 tablets of methadone, a muscle relaxer, an anti-inflammatory drug and 4 bottles of a painkiller. In the case, there are at least three pharmacists who claim to have refused to fill the prescription and one even said “They are going to kill her with this.”

In the book, “Blond Ambition”, that Larry Birkhead has threatened to sue author Rita Cosby over, is a claim that Birkhead and Smith’s lawyer/lover Howard K. Stern were gay lovers and caught in the act at one point by Anna Nicole Smith.

According to the book, “Blond Ambition: The Untold Story Behind Anna Nicole Smith’s Death” by former MSNBC journalist Rita Cosby, Anna Nicole Smith and a friend allegedly caught her longtime companion Howard K. Stern and the baby’s biological father Larry Birkhead engaged in oral sex, the Daily News reports.

“Their bodies were intermingled,” says Jackie Hatten, described as one of Smith’s closest friends, according to a copy of the book obtained by the Daily News. “It was obvious what was happening.”

Anna might in death have her wish of wanting to be Marilyn Monroe. It seems there is a new lover, angle to the story or something even more shocking than before that evolves within this story every week.

Larry Birkhead is threatening to sue Rita Cosby, former MSNBC and Fox News host, over claims she is making in her book Blond Ambition: The Untold Story Behind Anna Nicole Smith’s Death, which is set to be published next week.

Rumors are swirling about the book, Blond Ambition: The Untold Story Behind Anna Nicole Smith’s Death, due out next week. TMZ has heard Cosby will say she has documents that prove Larry Birkhead essentially bought the baby from Howard K. Stern. The publisher is mum until next Tuesday.

Today, Birkhead told TMZ, “If that’s what’s in her book, then she’ll be sued. And on top of that, there will be other individuals sued over confidential information in my custody case.”

I wish they would leave Larry and Dannielynn alone for at least a couple of years. I use to be a fan of Cosby, but it seems that she can’t hold down a job with any major news network. Most news host don’t make it back to the top after writing a tabloid book like Cosby is doing.

The claim in the book appears to be that Birkhead and Howard K. Stern were gay lovers.

A video showing one of Anna Nicole Smith’s breast augmentations has been blocked by a temporary restraining order.

Superior Court Judge Mitchell L. Beckloff granted the order Friday at the request of Smith’s former attorney and executor of her will, Howard K. Stern. The injunction prevents the sale, distribution or dissemination of the videotape.In court documents, first obtained by CelebTV.com, Stern accused Gerald Wayne Johnson, the Texas doctor who performed the surgery, of sending a tape showing the procedure to Thomas Riccio, a Los Angeles-based memorabilia dealer. Stern claims the surgery was taped without the former model’s consent.

The video was shot without her consent according to Stern.

An emotional Larry Birkhead thanked the crowd after Dr. Michael Baird released the DNA results to the judge. The probability of paternity is 99.9999%. Baird said, “essentially he is the biological father.”

On Tuesday we will know who is the daddy of Anna Nicole Smith’s baby daughter Dannielynn.  So will Larry Birkhead be the dad or do you think it is Howad K. Stern?

The people who need to be there have booked their tickets. Dr. Michael Baird, the DNA expert from Ohio, has cleared his schedule and will be front and center in a Bahamian court to authenticate his DNA findings. Larry Birkhead will be there, hoping to hear the critical word — “match.” If his DNA matches Dannielynn’s, it will almost certainly change everything.

I think everyone, even Stern at this point, believes that Birkhead is in fact Dannielynn’s biological father.

The coroner has spoke and Anna Nicole Smith did not commit suicide and wasn’t killed according to his report. The official finding gave the cause of death as an accidental overdose.

Dr. Joshua Perper says Anna did not try to commit suicide when she fell in a pool shortly after Daniel died. It was an accident caused by too many drugs.

Dr. Perper says Anna’s computer was helpful in determining her state of mind. There was no suicide attempt.

What’s more, Dr. Perper dismissed any possibility of homicide in the case. “We did not find any evidence that would point to homicide,” he said. “We did not find any fact … which could raise credible suspicion of homicide.”

The late Anna Nicole Smith was laid to rest today after weeks of wrangling over where she would be buried. She was buried in the Bahamas next to her son Daniel.

There was high drama, pink roses and rival lovers dabbing away their tears. Anna Nicole Smith would have loved it.

A red carpet was rolled out to receive the mahogany coffin, which was covered in a pink rhinestone-studded blanket.

Beside it stood a large photograph of Miss Smith looking like her idol, Marilyn Monroe.

Mourners had been told to wear something pink – Miss Smith’s favourite colour. The pall bearers wore pink ties and pink roses in their button holes.

The ceremony was a traditional religious service featuring the hymn Amazing Grace.

As soon as the casket arrived, Miss Smith’s boyfriend, Howard K Stern, burst into tears and went up to touch it.

He stood immediately in front of Larry Birkhead, the former lover who has gone to court to argue that he and not Stern fathered Miss Smith’s five-month-old daughter Dannielynn.

The two men seemed willing to put aside their differences for the day – warmly shaking hands as they arrived.

The funeral took place 22 days after Miss Smith collapsed and died from a suspected drugs overdose at a Florida hotel. Baby Dannielynn, at the centre of the custody battle, was not at the funeral.

Miss Smith was buried wearing a beaded gown and tiara. She was laid to rest alongside her son Daniel, 20, who died of a suspected drugs overdose five months earlier.

There was a twist today as should have been expected. Daniel’s father (yeah he is alive) announced that he wants his sons exhumed and buried in his home state of Texas.

But in another twist, Daniel’s father announced he wanted to exhume his son’s remains and rebury them 1,300 miles away in Texas.

Several celebrities were in attendance for the funeral. Two of the bigger celebs spotted were legendary wrestler Hulk Hogan and guitarist Slash.

Lovers and family can fight forever about where Anna Nicole Smith should be buried, but her body is headed to the Bahamas today to be buried with her son Daniel.

Minutes ago, the casket containing the body of Anna Nicole Smith was loaded onto a private plane at Miami International Airport for transport to the Bahamas for her funeral.

This followed an almost hour-long journey, during which the casket was accompanied by a significant police escort, and as local news sources reported, highways in south Florida were blocked off to traffic to avoid any tampering with the body.

Once in the Bahamas, her funeral will take place with over three hundred invited guests according to reports.

Once on the island, another motorcade will transport Smith’s casket to Mount Horeb Church in Nassau, where 300 invited guests will attend the funeral. Anna will then be buried next to her son Daniel, who died last September.

This comes a day after Bahamian officials announced the steep prices for attending Anna’s burial. However, I don’t see this as a case of greedy hyenas. I believe it is a way to keep excessive crazies away. The real news agencies will pony up the money and keep it from becoming a 5-ring circus as opposed to the 3-ring circus it already is.

Each crew that wants to get inside the community of Sandy Port is required to pay $2000 per camera and $5000 to set up a live feed … and they want their money tonight! Interested parties must submit a form with an authorized credit card number before midnight, or they won’t be allowed through the gate on Friday.

I would hope that today is a day that Larry, Howard and Momma Marshall can put their differences aside and be able to celebrate the the beautiful yet tragic life of Anna Nicole Smith

Anna Nicole Smith’s (real name Vickie Lynn Marshall) will has surfaced over at TMZ. You can view the ultra exciting legal document if you are that bored of a person. Remember if Anna did another will after this one that it would revoke this will dated July 30, 2001.

The will is dated July 30, 2001 and was drafted prior to Dannielynn’s birth and Daniel’s death, and therefore indicates that Anna only had a son.

Some people are making a big deal that Anna’s lover Howard K. Stern is the executor of the will. During my days as a lawyer I drafted several wills. Usually the attorney that drafts the will is named the executor of the will if the client doesn’t have someone he or she specifically names to execute the will.

The will does not list where Anna Nicole wished to be buried (most don’t) but some pundits were curious because of the battle for Anna’s body.

It does not say where Smith wished to be buried. There has been a bitter conflict between Stern and Smith’s estranged mother, Vergie Arthur, over where Smith’s remains should be buried. Stern maintains that Smith bought a plot in the Bahamas next to her son, Daniel. Arthur, on the other hand, wants Smith buried in a plot in the family’s home state of Texas.

TMZ.com has obtained these photos of the contents of Anna Nicole Smith’s refrigerator, that was located inside her hotel room, at the time of her death.

The contents included Slim Fast (Anna was a spokesperson for Trim Spa), Methadone, Body Butter, Worcestershire sauce, and yogurt.

The methadone is compelling, as Smith’s son Daniel died from a combination of drugs that included methadone. Law enforcement sources in the Bahamas tell TMZ that at least one witness has come forward and said Howard K. Stern supplied Daniel with methadone just before he died, and flushed the remaining stash down the toilet. That witness is expected to testify next month at the coroner’s inquest into Daniel’s death.

Now Stern is placed in the same home with another stash of methadone — the home he shared with Smith.
