GNR front man Axl Rose is being sued by a security guard who claims that Rose kicked him in the head back in 1996.

Gary Armijo claims that while he was working as a security guard stationed in front of the stage, Rose “intentionally kicked [Armijo] in the head proximately causing severe physical injuries.” His injuries were apparently so bad, he forgot to sue for 11 years!

I have no doubt that Axl kicked this goon in the head, but he should have sued at least back in the 90’s. I am not sure of the statute of limitations in California, but the judge is likely to toss this either way. My guess is the guy never knew Axl kicked him then he was watching GNR clips on You Tube and saw Axl kicking him in the back of the head. He then got to thinking (while pumping gas at the Chevron for paying customers) that taking money out of Axl’s royalty checks would be a lot easier than pumping gas.

Eccentric rocker and Guns N’ Roses frontman Axl Rose recently demanded a full roast lamb dinner before performing in the U.K.

The Guns N’ Roses singer kept the crowd at Newcastle’s Metro Arena waiting on Thursday night for over an hour in the sweltering heat as he tucked in to his meal.

Concert goer Saskia Green says, “It was really hot and the crowd was booing because he was taking forever. A security guard said it the delay was caused by Axl demanding a lamb dinner before he went on - very rock ‘n’ roll.”

Colin Revel, manager of the Metro Arena, confirmed the bizarre request for the British delicacy and said, “Only a roast dinner would do.”

 

Axl Rose was arrested in Sweeden Tuesday night after allegedly biting the leg of a security guard. 

Rose was held on suspicion of attacking and threatening the guard, as well as causing damage to the Berns Hotel where the alleged dust-up took place around 8 a.m., police spokesperson Towe Hagg told the AP.

The singer was intoxicated at the time of the confrontation, Haag said, and “was deemed too intoxicated to be questioned right away,� she said.

That is what I love about Axl. Everyone else from the 80’s grew up or died and yet Axl continues to act like a bonafide rock metal star.  In other words, Axl has never grown up or matured.  And that is a respectable thing for a true rock star.  Axl was a generation’s Kurt Cobain, but he forgot to die.  He sure tried to though.

However, it would be good if he finally released the new Guns n’ Roses album that is 10 years in the making.  Axl is a musical genius.
