Former Bachelor runner-up Desiree Hartsock is the latest beauty to star on ABC’s reality show The Bachelorette.

The 26-year-old bridal assistant’s promo photos were released by the network on Friday, April 19. She’s seen holding a bouquet of roses, which she will presumably pass out to the men vying for her affection.

“I just can’t even believe I’m here,” she told host Chris Harrison during The Bachelor: After the Final Rose special in March. “I just feel so thankful.”

“I’m very hopeful in all of this and I do hope to meet the man of my dreams,” she added.

Hartsock has since been photographed filming a group date at an outdoor mall in Glendale, Calif.

Former Bachelor star Brad Womack is now dating AshLee Frazier, one of the finalists from Sean Lowe‘s season of the hit reality show.

An insider told reporters the two met at an event in Texas, and have been “hanging out ever since.”

Frazier posted a photo of she and her beau on Instagram with the caption: ”Game day. Who’s the real winner here? #Astros #twoTexaskids #wgt.”

Womack starred on the Bachelor and became engaged to Emily Maynard, who he dumped shortly after the show ended, thus making her the new Bachelorette. Maynard went on to date Sean Lowe, who became the latest Bachelor after their public, televised split . Lowe then dated Frazier on his season, but sent her packing for Catherine Giudici.

Former Bachelor Ben Flajnik is officially on the market again. Courtney Robertson returned the Neil Lane diamond Flajnik presented her with on the finale of the reality show in fall 2011 after she was seen “making out” with former Bachelorette contestant Arie Luyendyk Jr.

Robertson, 30, returned her 3-carat, $80,000 ring at the Neil Lane jewelry boutique in Los Angeles yesterday. Bachelor rules state that the ring must be returned if the wedding plans are called off.

“Sometimes they make exceptions,” Flajnik, 30, told reporters about the ring. “We’ve been together for 10 months. You have to be together for two years to keep the ring.”

“We weren’t as similar as we thought,” Flajnik added about the break up, which they announced on Oct. 5. “Things just changed … it was a totally mutual agreement.”

Every girl in America is thrilled with this news.

Sean Lowe is ABC’s new Bachelor.

The Dallas businessman, who was second runner-up on Emily Maynard‘s season of The Bachelorette, will star in the 17th season of the show beginning in January 2013.

The decision to go with Lowe comes after months of speculation that the next Bachelor would be Olympian Ryan Lochte or former Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky‘s ex-fiance Roberto Martinez.

“I’m an open-minded optimist, and I believe the process can work. If I found my wife, it would be worth it.” Lowe told reporters before the announcement that he would star in the next season.

Former Bachelor contestant Erica Rose is currently dating another reality star – David Golshan from Bravo’s “Shahs of Sunset.” Erica was apparently desperate to find a boyfriend after being rejected by Prince Lorenzo Borghese in the ninth season of “The Bachelor.”

Former Bachelor Brad Womack seems a tiny bit bitter about his ex-fiance Emily Maynard appearing on The Bachelorette.

The Texas bar owner, who proposed to Maynard at the end of the 2011 season, told a local news station he won’t be watching his ex on the ABC reality show. ”All I’ll say is she is a helluva woman and I hope it works out,” Womack, 38, said. “I have no interest [in watching].”

“I think I dodged a bullet with that relationship,” Womack said about his relationship with single mom Maynard, 26.

But Maynard didn’t seem too bothered by the statements. She Tweeted Thursday: ”I’m sure they accidentally cut off the part where he said it was a diamond encrusted bullet of course!”

Touche, Maynard.

Two African American men have filed a class action lawsuit against the producers of The Bachelor,and it’s counterpart The Bachelorette, alleging that the “programs intentionally exclude contestants of color.”

Bachelor SPOILERS: Ben Flajnik’s Final Six To Four Girls In Belize

Nashville residents Nathaniel Claybrooks and Christopher Johnson, who auditioned separately for the show last season, state that in the 23 combined seasons of the two shows, a person of color has never held the title role.

“All applicants of color, including plaintiffs Claybrooks and Johnson, have been denied the same opportunity as their white counterparts to compete for the role of the Bachelor and Bachelorette due to their race and/or color,” the complaint reads. The shows’ creator, Mike Fleiss, is one of those specifically named by Claybrooks and Johnson.

Last season, when Fleiss, who also executive produces the shows, was interviewed about if there would ever be a Bachelor or Bachelorette of color, he answered: ”I think Ashley [Hebert, the 2011 Bachelorette] is 1/16th Cherokee Indian, but I cannot confirm. But that is my suspicion!” he said. “We really tried, but sometimes we feel guilty of tokenism. Oh, we have to wedge African-American chicks in there! We always want to cast for ethnic diversity, it’s just that for whatever reason, they don’t come forward. I wish they would.”

Yikes. Good luck getting out of this one.

The Bachelor journey is coming to an end for Ben Flajnik. Tonight (February 13), the winemaker has to make some very tough decisions after being offered the opportunity to spend more time with his final six girls in Belize. At the rose ceremony, Ben will have to eliminate two girls and pick his final four for the hometown dates.

Former Bachelorette Jen Schefft is expecting her second bundle of joy with her husband Joe Waterman this summer.

“Jen and her husband Joe are thrilled to be expecting again,” a source told reporters. “They are looking forward to expanding their family, and their daughter [Mae Elizabeth, 14 months] is especially excited about becoming a big sister.”

The Bachelorette’s Jen Schefft Welcomes A Baby Girl

Schefft, who is three months pregnant, first found fame when she won Andrew Firestone‘s heart on The Bachelor in 2003. She went on to star in her own season of The Bachelorette two years later.

She and her husband married in May 2009.
