That dress is one of the most beautiful creations ever. I’d die to wear that dress. After a few shockingly bad choices during the awards season, the 30 year-old pulled off this perfect, bold, statement look for the most important red carpet of the year and is right on top of my Best Dressed list at the Oscars.

Unfortunately, Jessica’s red carpet victory didn’t translate into an Oscar as she lost Best Supporting Actress to her “The Help” co-star Octavia Spencer.

The Olsen twins, Ashley Olsen and Mary-Kate Olsen, were named the best dressed on the cover of Vogue’s 2011 Best Dressed Special Edition. The twins are labeled as “legitimate fashion forces” who are not afraid to be bold and take risks.

Who were the best dressed and worst dressed celebs on the red carpet? The 63rd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards red carpet fashion was defined by red hot gowns, purple gowns, sparkly gowns, and real boring and ugly full-length dresses.

On the worst dressed list are actress Julianna Margulies, who was wearing the ugliest Armani Privé silky white gown ever, Katie Holmes (photos here), Glee’s Dianna Agron in a blue Roksanda Ilincic dress, Olivia Munn in emerald green gown by Carolina Herrera, and the new Charlie’s Angel Minka Kelly in a Christian Dior gown with lace sleeves.

The title of red hot and classy ladies on the red carpet goes to actresses Nina Dobrev and Kate Winslet (honorable mention: Lea Michele). Joining them on the best dressed list are Sofia Vergara (photos here), “The Good Wife”Christine Baranski in a super chic navy gown, and “How I Met Your Mother” star Cobie Smulders, who looked stunning in a bright blue gown (daring color, perfect dress!).

There were some fashion hits and total disasters. On our best dressed list are Nicole Kidman, Julianne Hough and Carrie Underwood. Emily West, Kimberly Schlapman and Meghan Linsey are our worst dressed picks.

The big winner of the night Miranda Lambert failed to win on the red carpet. The white dress would have been perfect if the cleavage had been a little more discreet. As for Taylor Swift, who won Entertainer of The Year, that mellow yellow gown is the most boring thing ever. The dress is beautiful, but the color is hideous.

Some celebrities did their best to stand out looking stunning, others were probably just begging for attention on the red carpet of the 61st Primetime Emmy Awards held at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday (September 20).

To tell the truth, it wasn’t easy to come up with a best dressed list since there were so many safe and poor fashion choices but we must mention Olivia Wilde, who looked absolutely gorgeous in a revealing Marchesa gown (more photos), and 8 month-pregnant Heidi Klum, who was not afraid to show off her HUGE bump (Heidi Klum & Seal photos).

Sarah Silverman is on our worst dressed list again and actress Victoria Rowell, who decided politics and fashion can actually mix and wore a horrible dress with President Barack Obama’s face all over it.

The 66th Annual Golden Globe Awards took place at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday (January 11) in Beverly Hills, California. Our favorite celebs came out with their most fabulous outfits to WOW us at the red carpet. Most did a pretty good job, some have their own glow and others are just losing it (like Sigourney Weaver and Glenn Close).

Absolutely shiny couples at the red carpet were: Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt, Kate Winslet & Leonardo DiCaprio (not really a couple but they look great together!) and Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron. The ladies Anne Hathaway, Eva Mendes, Eva Longoria Parker, Jennifer Morrison (“House”) and Blake Lively (“Gossip Girl”) made quite an impression looking just fabulous. The most disappointing at the red carpet were: Jennifer Lopez (hideous gold dress!), Salma Hayek (white was not a good color!) and Heidi Klum (not a fan of that dress, can’t tell exactly why!).
