Eccentric Lady GaGa and Diva Beyonce got together for a second collaboration for GaGa’s latest single “Telephone” out of her second album “The Fame Monster”. The video for “Video Phone (Remix)”, their first collaboration, was a total disappointment (watch video here), but GaGa claims she only toned it down as a tribute to the real star in the video, Beyonce!
“I said, ‘I want to do you in your video, and I want to tribute you. I want to dress up like you,’ ” Gaga recalled telling her co-star. “And Hype Williams … was so excited. He was like, ‘Gaga I want no makeup on your face.’ It was really stripped down — real Beyoncé hair, and we wore the same outfit in the video, and I [paid tribute to] her.”
“Telephone” was directed by Jonas Akerlund, who also directed the music video for “Paparazzi”, and it’s reportedly inspired by Quentin Tarantino’s “Kill Bill”. Beyonce will help GaGa escape jail and the two will embark on a crazy adventure!

Actress/singer Beyonce sang “If I Were a Boy” and surprised with her own short rendition of the Alanis Morissette’s iconic, classic rock chick song, “You Oughta Know” at the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Sunday (January 31) – watch video below.
Beyonce was the big winner of the night, setting a Grammy record for most wins by a female artist with SIX awards including Song Of The Year, and Best Contemporary R&B Album. Beyonce was followed by Taylor Swift, who won four trophies including Album Of The Year for “Fearless”. Congrats to the gorgeous and talented ladies!

Actress/singer Beyonce looks absolutely stunning, gorgeous and confident on the cover of the upcoming issue of Allure Magazine (February 2010). The 28 year-old does not need to hide behind her alter-ego Sasha Fierce anymore, because she is finally a grown-up independent woman who embraces her sexier, naughtier and fiercest side.
Here are some highlights from Beyonce’s Allure interview:
On how her mother inspired Beyonce’s new scent, Heat (photos and video here): “I grew up with my mother walking past, and you could smell the faint scent of her fragrance—it always gave me this sense of comfort. I just thought it was so beautiful that she would walk by and leave her scent.”
On having kids: “I definitely want to have a child, but I know from my nephew [Juelz] it’s a lot. I hope that those things will just happen naturally. I still haven’t had time to relax.”
On playing Spades online: “I play with everybody, and they curse me out when I make mistakes, and kick me out of the room. I love it, it’s really fun because no one knows it’s me.”
On alter-ego Sasha Fierce: “The thing that’s interesting is I don’t need Sasha Fierce anymore, because I’ve grown, and I’m now able to merge the two. I want people to see me. I want people to see who I am.”

Actress/singer Beyonce is ready to launch her first fragrance, Heat, described as “a unique expression of a woman’s powerful sensuality” for “women who are not afraid to desire and to be desired” on February 2010. The 28 year-old was happy to finally be a part of the whole process, from bottle design to name and commercial ideas.
“I’m so happy with it,” the singer tellsWWD. “I’ve been working on it for a while now. I was on tour for a year, and I have meet-and-greets with fans. I’ve never in my life gotten so many compliments. Coty has their own testing, but that was my testing! The fans loved it. They were like, ‘I love that, I’m getting that, why isn’t it out right now? I need it!”
Beyonce’s Heat, which is a mix of top notes of red vanilla orchid, magnolia, neroli and blush peach, will include eaux de parfum in three sizes, as well as a sparkling body lotion, priced between $39-$59. Singer Beyonce’s parents, Tina Knowles and Matthew Knowles, are headed to divorce after almost 31 years of marriage. In the papers filed by Tina last month, it is revealed that they had “ceased to live together as husband and wife on or about January 5, 2009″, which was the exact day of their 30th wedding anniversary.
Tina and Matthew have two beautiful daughters together, Beyonce and Solange, but he was served with a paternity lawsuit from Alessandra Wright back in October, so that must have played a role in their divorce. Alessandra claimed that Matthew was the father of her unborn child due in the spring of 2010.

The nominees for the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards were announced during a special one-hour ceremony hosted by LL Cool J, which included live performances, on Wednesday night (December 2).
Beyonce leads the list with ten nominations while Taylor Swift has eight and Kanye West, who got six nods, will most probably be at the ceremony. Uh Oh! The 2010 Grammy Awards will be held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on January 31, 2010.

The much anticipated video directed by Hype Williams is a complete disappointment – we were expecting greatness and we got women playing with toy guns and old dance moves instead. You can always check out GaGa’s ‘Bad Romance’, if you want to watch an exciting, amazing music video.
Here is the first look at Beyonce and Lady GaGa’s much anticipated official music video for ‘Video Phone (Extended Remix)’ directed by Hype Williams, which will finally premiere on Tuesday at 12:01 a.m. EST (more photos below + audio below). This super cute baby cannot even walk yet, but he/she does shake his/her booty like there’s no tomorrow while watching Beyonce’s video for “Single Ladies”. And this should be listed as one of the reasons why Beyonce recently won ‘Video Of The Year’ at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards.

Almost a week after Kanye West’s infamous VMA outburst during Taylor Swift’s speech (watch video here), Jay-Z finally spoke up to defend Kanye’s passionate personality, claiming the incident was blown out of proportion.
Jay-Z said, “It’s an awards show. He’s just a super passionate person. Of course it was rude, because it was her moment, but that’s the way he really felt. I think it was rude, but the way they’re treating him…He’s on the cover of every paper. He didn’t kill anybody. No one got harmed.”
“”I think it’s a bit blown out. It was pretty rude. At the end of the day, we’re gonna celebrate him for his passion more than vilify him. As he grows and matures, he has to balance that.” Jay-Z added, “I don’t think he should lay low. I think he should move on and have a brilliant career.”
And I don’t think we are ready to celebrate Kanye unless it includes calling him a jackass (hey, Prez Obama said it!). Beyonce Knowles certainly agrees with us because she also thought Taylor’s moment had been stolen when she called the country singer back up during her VOY speech (watch video here).
It has been said Jay-Z could have been mad at Beyonce for not having Kanye’s back since he is a part of the Roc family. Mad or not, the truth is Beyonce did the right thing, acted like a lady and certainly deserves respect for the great artist that she is too!

Two of the biggest stories of the past week have been Rep. Joe Wilson interrupting President Barack Obama during his speech to Congress by shouting, “You lie!,” and last night when Kanye West went on stage and interrupted Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech at the MTV Video Music Awards saying that Beyonce deserved the award instead.
The video above is a humorous splicing of the two events whereby Kanye interrupts Obama during his address to Congress. Very well done and funny!
Actress/singer Beyonce was not only the biggest winner of the night but proved to be a real classy lady when she called Taylor Swift and gave the young country singer her moment to shine at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards (VMA) held at the Radio City Music Hall in New York City on Sunday (September 13).
You cannot miss Beyonce’s fierce performance of the hit “Single Ladies” (watch video), which earned her the MTV VMA for Video Of The Year. I think it’s pretty clear Beyonce beat Lady GaGa, who took home the moon man for Best New Artist.

Beyonce, who continues to evolve into the class of today’s hip-hop generation, won the Video of the Year at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs).
Beyonce used the moment to call Taylor Swift back onto the stage so she could have her moment to shine. Earlier, Kanye West had jumped on-stage and hijacked the moment when Swift won Female Video of the Year. West took the mic from Swift and told the audience that Beyonce’s ‘Single Women’ was “one of the greatest videos of all-time!”
Swift was surprised and appreciative. She used the moment to thank everyone she would have thanked earlier before West intruded.
