It was reported Thursday that the fairy godmother of the world, Oprah Winfrey, had been named Beyonce and Jay-Z‘s new bundle of joy’s godmother. But thanks to Oprah’s BFF Gayle King, our dreams have been shattered.

King told reporter Oprah isn’t Blue Ivy’s godmother, as of yet. “It’s absolutely not true that she’s the godmother. She’s friends with them, of course, and likes them both very much. She’s working on sending them a baby gift. She hasn’t even had time to send a baby gift because she’s been away,” King explained on the Early Show.

“Let me just say, if [that report is] true, it is news to her. It is news to her. You know, she was heading to South Africa when the baby was born.”

NO kidding! Proud daddy Jay-Z wastes no time. The rapper (real name Shawn Carter) just launched his two days-old daughter, baby Blue Ivy’s music career by featuring her glorious cries in the new song “Glory” released on his website (listen to audio below).

“The most amazing feeling I feel, words can’t describe what I’m feeling for real / Baby, I paint the sky blue, my greatest creation was you,” Jay-Z raps.

“You’re the child of destiny / you’re the child of my destiny / you’re my child with the child from Destiny’s Child.”

In the song, Jay-Z reveals baby blue was conceived in Paris, France and opens up about a previous miscarriage, rapping: “Last time the miscarriage was tragic / We was afraid you’d disappear but nah baby you’re magic.”

“Glory” was produced by Pharrell and baby Blue is credited as “B.I.C.”

Solange simply tweeted, “The most beautiful girl in the world.” Yep, she doesn’t even have to tell what she is talking about because the whole world is all about Queen B and her precious messiah baby.

In fact, both parents are getting over the top paranoid with the arrival of their bundle of joy. They rented out a whole floor in the hospital. They have highly trained ninjas prepared to destroy whoever attempts to sneak a camera within like 1,000 feet of precious Blue Ivy.

Seriously!? I get it. Baby Blue is a celebrity baby, but not even Brangelina acted so stuck up paranoid.

It’s a girl for Beyonce Knowles and her husband Jay-Z! The 30 year-old actress/singer gave birth to a healthy baby girl named Blue Ivy Carter via a scheduled C-section at the Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City on Saturday (January 7).

According to the Daily News, Beyonce checked into the hospital under the name of “Ingrid Jackson” on Friday night. Queen B and Jay-Z (real name Shawn Carter) apparently rented out the entire fourth floor of the hospital for $1.3 million and brought their own security team.

The new parents allegedly asked hospital employees to place tape over security cameras and turn in their cell phones when they arrive for their shifts to avoid pictures of the precious baby to leak. That’s insane! But Beyonce is like more important than royalty, I guess.

Russell Simmons took to his Twitter to confirm the arrival of the precious bundle of joy, tweeting, “congrats to my good friends Beyonce and Jay-Z.” While Rihanna added, “Welcome to the world princess Carter! Love Aunty Rih.”

Rumors began flying earlier this week that the mother-to-be had checked in to St. Luke’s Hospital in New York City, and overnight the Twitter world exploded. While multiple media outlets covered the story, they all cited their source as Twitter. Reliable, huh?

Mathew Knowles and Tina Knowles are officially divorced. Beyonce’s parents had been dragging it out for too long, but they have finally decided it was time to get it over with and move on with their lives.

Tina originally filed for divorce back in November of 2009 after Alexsandra Wright filed a paternity suit against Beyonce’s dad. Both Mathew and Tina failed to show up in court and the divorce was dropped in 2010.

Beyonce’s mother refilled for divorce in August 30, and the final decree was issued last month in Texas. In the court documents, Tina claims the marriage was “insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities,” which “prevents any reasonable expectation of reconciliation.”

Meanwhile, Beyonce discovered she had a baby brother named Nixon, fired her daddy as her manager, and is now expecting a child of her own with her husband Jay-Z.
