Actress Brooke Shields, who was clearly devastated by her friend Michael Jackson’s tragic death, gave a beautiful speech recalling the good times they spent together as children who had to grow up way too much under public scrutiny at Michael Jackson’s Memorial service held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Tuesday (July 7).

Actress Brooke Shields recently revealed she regrets not losing her virginity sooner in an interview for the latest issue of Health Magazine (June 2009). The 43 year-old mother-of-two, who became a sex symbol at an early age, was insecure about her body and confessed she only started having sex at 22.

What’s your biggest health regret?
Brooke said: “Not learning to love the way I looked earlier. And I think I would have had sex a lot earlier! [Laughs.] I think I would have lost my virginity earlier than I did at 22. I had the public and all this pressure, and I wish I had just gotten it over with in the beginning when it was sort of OK. I think I would have been much more in touch with myself. I think I wouldn’t have had issues with weight—I carried this protective 20 pounds [in college]. It was all connected. And to me, that’s a health regret.”

So, basically, sex is good, sex is healthy, sex will let you shred some “protective” pounds… what are you waiting for?! Don’t forget to use a condom!

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes finally said ‘I do’ or whatever that translates in alien Scientology dialect.  Katie was the beautiful bride and Tom was there…all 5’6″ of him. Brooke Shields, Victoria Beckham, and Jennifer Lopez and Marc ‘Skeletor’ Lopez were some of the guests.

Not many would have imagined Brooke Shields would have been attending this wedding just a few months ago after Tom’s lunatic rant against her, but Shields was elegant in her dress and flying across the ocean to be at the nuptials.

I am not sure of the J-Lo connection to Tom-Kat. I am not sure of her connection to Marc Anthony either.  Maybe her and Katie have their own clan of women who married shorties.

Someone needs to tell Victoria Beckham that the wedding is not about her and her lavish fashion. Who really wears a hat like that to a wedding. Someone should fill that with sausage balls and cheese sticks to munch on at the reception.

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are officially man and wife after a whirlwind year and a half together.

Saturday’s wedding started on a damp note, with scattered rain throughout the morning. Holmes and 7-month-old daughter Suri were escorted into the castle under a cluster of green umbrellas. A little over an hour later, the groom was escorted from the Hassler hotel in Rome to Lake Bracciano 18 miles away. With the sun going down, candles lit up the perimeter of the 15th-century castle as limousines carrying the guests drove through the gates.

Still, there might be one last hoop to jump through before their marriage is legal. Patrizia Riccioni, the mayor of Bracciano, Italy, told PEOPLE that the couple must be married in a civil ceremony in the town to make it official. As of Saturday evening, that hadn’t happened yet. “Maybe they will have something official in the U.S.,” she speculated.

Celebs in attendance included Will and Jada Pinkett Smith, Victoria and David Beckham, Brooke Shields and Chris Henchy, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony, along with Jim Carrey and Jenny McCarthy to name a few.

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes have plastered the magazines and news this week with baby Suri. Tom-Kat has put on a massive PR push to repair their image. Tom even made a trip to Brooke Shield’s house to applogize for blasting her for taking anti-depressants after the birth of her first child.

The TomKat PR machine has been in fullest attack mode all week, and the latest charge came when Katie and Tom did lunch with the mothers TomKat for the second time this week at the Beverly Hills Hotel. The supposedly feuding families looked notably chummy and happy for the photographers. And in just one week, the couple have managed to use the top-rated newscast and late-night show as well as the most visible hotel and restaurant in Hollywood to attempt a complete image overhaul, not to mention a 22-page spread in Vanity Fair.

But none of it appears to be working. Tom continues to rant about the dangers of prescription drugs and his firing from Paramount is a tell-all of how the industry is looking at him now.

But TMZ is told that Cruise has mouthed off to various Hollywood bigwigs at various venues, including dinners at restaurants, about the evils of certain drugs, knowing that family members of these bigwigs are taking them. They are outraged, and don’t believe the new, softer side of Tom for a minute.

In a TMZ poll, asking how transparent the Tom-Kat PR push is, 86% say it is ‘totally see-through’, 9% say it is ‘murky, while just 5% say it is legit.

I guess it is time to start appologzing to those you have pissed off once a major Hollywood studio cuts off your line of credit.  Brooke Shields says that Tom Cruise paid a visit to her home and appologized to her for being mean regarding anti-depressants.

On an appearance on the “Tonight Show” last night, Shields told Jay Leno that Cruise “came over to my house, and he gave me a heartfelt apology. And he apologized for bringing me into the whole thing and for everything that happened.” Shields added that she was “impressed” with the “Mission: Impossible 3″ star’s sincerity, and that Cruise was able to restrain himself from proselytizing about the evils of psychoactive pharmaceuticals. 

Not that Cruise has changed his mind: According to his rep, who confirmed the apology, Cruise “has not changed his position about antidepressants, which as evidenced by the black label warnings issued by the FDA on these types of drugs, are unhealthy.”

 

The video that never was for Britney Spears song Outrageous included scenes of her seducing rapper Snoop Dogg on a basketball court.  Outrageous was to be the fourth single from In the Zone.  Britney injured her knee during filming and the video was never completed according to Wikipedia.

The single was supposed to be coupled with a music video directed by previous Spears collaborator Dave Meyers (“Lucky,” “Boys”); however, Spears sustained a knee injury during a dance routine and could not complete it. Clips of the video, which feature a cameo appearance by Snoop Dogg, can be found on her Greatest Hits: My Prerogative DVD.

Shot in Queens, New York, the supposed-to-be music video that was included in the DVD starts in the middle of the song where Snoop Dogg was seen playing basketball with a group of people. Suddenly, Britney interrups and ruins the game. She proceeds to flirt with Snoop and then licks his beard during the line “until I vow to keep it forever.” In the next scene, she and her dancers perform in a wet street, which is where she injured her knee.

I guess when Snoop wasn’t gangsta enough for Brit she decided to marry true gangsta Kevin Federline.

No one truly seems to know if Suri Cruise really exists.  I am surprised that Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes have not put the baby on public display in front of their Beverly Hills home.  The confusion over Suri’s birth certificate only adds fire to the debate if baby Suri truly exists or is the creation of great science fiction.

The same nurse who signed the birth certificate for Tom Cruise’s daughter Suri also signed the birth certificate for Brooke Shields’ daughter Grier,  but there’s an interesting discrepancy.

On the Suri Cruise certificate, Heffernan’s license number is G48079.  On the Grier Henchy certificate, Heffernan’s license number is different — G068399.  TMZ checked with the California Board of Registered Nursing and we were told Heffernan’s license number didn’t match either of the birth certificates.  A Board rep told TMZ Hefferman’s license number is 317058.

And it gets more interesting. The Board of Registered Nursing told TMZ the license number on Grier’s certificate comes back to a Dorothy Rork.  The license number on Suri’s birth certificate is a mystery.  There is no name attached to that license number.

And then there is the mystery over who signed Suri’s birth certificate.

By the way, unlike Suri’s birth certificate, Brooke Shields signed the one for her daughter.  Someone listed as “Friend” signed the certificate for Suri.

Also, the hospital’s policy is to file birth certificates with L.A. County within 10 days of birth.  In the case of Suri, it took 20 days to file, in part because the “friend” didn’t sign for 16 days.  In Grier’s case, Brooke herself signed two days after her birth and the certificate was filed nine days after the baby was born.
