Bruno Mars in covering the April issue of Playboy, making him the tenth man to ever grace the cover of the famous magazine.

Peter Sellers, Burt Reynolds, Steve Martin, Jerry Seinfeld and, most recently, Seth Rogen have all covered the magazine, but Mars is the first Latino man to snag the honor.

Why Russell? Probably because he is British!?! And why didn’t they ask Adele to sing a couple of Amy’s songs? It would have been the perfect fit. Adele and Amy were nothing alike, but Adele’s voice combined with Amy’s dark lyrics would have been totally magical. Of course, Bruno Mars did a fantastic job.

Russell said Amy was an “ordinary girl with extraordinary hair”, describing her voice as the sound “a roar from the guts of humanity.” Adding, “She was suffering from alcoholism and drug addiction. The concept is pretty simple. Bruno Mars is monkeying around in his bedroom with five friends with monkey mask, who dance to the sound of the beat. It’s pretty entertaining! Funny. Cute. You will want to start monkeying around too!!
