UFC star Jon “Bones” Jones was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after crashing his Bentley into a pole at around 5 a.m. in Binghamton, New York on Saturday (May 19).

The Light Heavyweight champion’s car was totaled and he was promptly taken into custody and booked for DUI. A few hours later, Bones was released after being bailed out by his own mother.

Bones’ manager, Malki Kawa, said in a statement:

“I can confirm that Jon Jones was arrested early this morning on suspicion of DUI. While the facts of this situation are still being gathered and situated, First Round Management fully supports Jon, and we are asking for fans and media to respect the privacy of Jon and his family during this time.”

Bones, who won his last fight against Rashad Evans back in April, is set to return to the ring to fight Dan Henderson in Las Vegas on September 1, 2012.

OneRepublic’s drummer Edward Ray Fisher aka Eddie Fisher was arrested for destruction of private property, disturbing the peace and assault after he went on a destructive rage in Denver on Tuesday morning (May 15).

The details surrounding is arrest as well as the reason for such an aggressive behavior are still unknown. The 38 year-old drummer, who is 5’8’’ and weighs 155 pounds, is now scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday (May 16).

Former Miss Arizona Teen USA (2010), Tori Vance, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after being pulled over for making an illegal U-turn in Los Angeles, California over the weekend.

The 18 year-old, who was behind the wheel of a Mini Cooper, showed signs of intoxication when approached by the police officer who asked her to step out and take a field sobriety test.

Tori’s blood alcohol level was just above the legal limit in the state (.08), so the beauty queen was promptly taken into custody and booked for misdemeanor DUI.

Cuban actor Angel Salazar, best known for playing Chi Chi in Al Pacino’s “Scarface,” was arrested for driving under the influence after being pulled over by the cops around midnight in Brooklyn, New York last Thursday.

Angel was obviously intoxicated while behind the wheel of his 1999 Volvo Sedan. When he was asked to take a breathalyzer test, it accused a blood alcohol level of 0.121 above the legal limit of 0.08.

The actor claimed he drank that night, but thought he was sober enough to drive. The cops promptly arrested him and booked him on three counts of DUI. Angel was later released on bail.

Amanda Bynes was finally released from jail after being arrested for driving under the influence earlier today. As you can see Amanda is rocking a new pink hair style, which is an obvious cry for attention from someone desperately seeking help before hitting rock bottom.

Amanda (aka LiLo 2.0?) was stopped by the police when she swiped a cop car as she was trying to pass at around 3 a.m. in West Hollywood. She was obviously intoxicated and promptly booked for DUI.

The 26 year-old actress, who’s 5’7’’ and 125 lbs., is currently still in jail after she attempted to pass a cop car and sideswiped the vehicle. The bail was set at $5,000.

The reality star jokingly chased after a photographer when he noticed him taking his photo. The paparazzo ran “in fright” to a nearby store. Kardashian reportedly tried to explain the joke, but police had witnessed the incident and detained him.

Law enforcement said that the 25-year-old was released after he was questioned and it was made clear that it was a misunderstanding.

Harry Potter actor Jamie Waylett, who is known to most as Hogwarts’ bully Vincent Crabbe, has been sentenced to two years in prison for participating in the London riots last year.

Actor George Clooney and his father Nick Clooney were arrested during a protest over the Sudan crisis in front of the Sudanese embassy in Washington, D.C on Friday morning (March 16).

The actor’s publicist told TMZ in a statement:

“They were protesting the violence committed by the government of Sudan on its own innocent men, women and children. They were demanding they allow humanitarian aid into the country before it becomes the largest humanitarian crisis in the world.”

Apparently, George is more than happy about being forced to wear a pair of handcuffs because his arrest draws attention to the crisis in Sudan. Hollywood using its powers for good.

A total of a dozen people were arrested, including congressmen, human rights defensors and a few Sudanese citizens, who were protesting against president Omar Al-Bashir for creating a humanitarian crisis by preventing food and aid from reaching the Nuba Mountains.

Rapper Coolio was arrested for multiple traffic violations in Las Vegas, Nevada on Friday (March 9), after he was caught on the passenger seat of a Nissan Versa during a routine traffic violation.

Coolio was not even driving when the car was pulled over, but police officers noticed there were two bench warrants for his arrest stemming from past traffic violations and promptly arrested him.

Coolio was taken to Clark County Detention Center, where his son Grtis is serving his time for allegedly robbing a guy at gunpoint a few months ago. Ironic. Coolio was later released on $5,850 bail.
