Gary Coleman’s wife, Shannon Price, was arrested for domestic violence and disorderly conduct in Santaquin, Utah on Wednesday night (July 1). Shannon, who apparently thrashed a room at their home but did not lay a hand on Gary, was booked for two misdemeanors and released on a $1,205 bail.

Shannon was not happy with how her husband treated her and when cops arrived she was still livid. Shannon “yelled and called officer ‘f***er’ and told officer ‘f**k you and f**k him several times.” Oh, true love is beautiful!

Former Yankee player Jim Leyritz was arrested after beating up and dragging his ex-wife Karrie Leyritz out of bed because she had written a check without his permission early Thursday (June 2).

Karrie fled to the neighbor’s house for help and her ex-husband was only arrested later since he wasn’t at the home when cops arrived. Jim, who should be arraigned today, claims his ex-wife was drunk and hurt herself to frame him – something that was confirmed by one of their three kids – because he tried to evict her from the house they still share.

This incident occurred just a couple of month before Jim is to stand trial on charges of causing a fatal crash while driving drunk back in December 2007. The 45 year-old former catcher says he is still tormented by the death of Fredia Ann Veitch, victim of the crash.

Actress Daryl Hannah, NASA scientist James Hansen, Ken Hechler and other 27 other protesters against mountaintop removal mining were arrested on misdemeanor charges of obstruction and impeding traffic in West Virginia after blocking off a road leading to a coal processing plant on Tuesday (June 23).

Former American Idol contestant Loretta Spruell is one of the women who accused Oscar winning songwriter Joseph Brooks of using Craiglist to lure aspiring models and actresses to his Manhattan apartment with promises of parts in his next movie. The women claim they were doped or their drinks were spiked and then raped.

Joseph, who won an Academy Award for the ballad “You Light Up My Life,” was finally arrested on Tuesday (June 23) and charged with the sexual assault of 11 women. The first of the alleged assaults involved a 22 year-old woman who said she was sexually abused at the Carlyle Hotel in November 2006. Other assaults occurred in May 2007 and March 2008 in Joseph’s apartment.

Chris Brown, who faces two felony counts of assault and making criminal threats, accompanied by his lawyer, Mark Geragos, and family attended the preliminary hearing this afternoon.

Rihanna was suppose to testify against her former boyfriend but that didn’t happen since Chris plead guilty for felony assault and won’t do jail time. Here are the details of his plea bargain:

• Supervised probation for 5 years.
• 180 days of hard labor, like graffiti cleanup in his hometown of Virginia.
• He must report back to court every three months for his supervised probation.
• He must also enroll in a domestic violence counseling program.
• Judge issued a stay away order, which means he must stay at least 50 yards away from Rihanna.
• If Rihanna and Chris at the same work related event, he must stay at least 10 yards away from her.
• Chris is ordered to return back to court on August 5th to see if the stay away order can be reduced to level one.

Rihanna, dressed all in black, was present at the courthouse. The judge claimed Chris would be treated as any other person who came through her court. If Chris violates probation, he can get up to four years in jail.

Former professional mountain bike rider, Melissa “Missy” Giove, and Eric Canori have been arrested on charges of conspiring to possess and distribute marijuana (almost 400 pounds of pot!!). Missy and Eric can face up to 40 years in jail and a fine up to $2 million.

A DEA Special Agent said, “(Drug) trafficking can lead you downhill fast. From championship mountain biking to street level drug dealing, the only reason people turn to drug trafficking is to make a profit from the sale of illicit narcotics.

“DEA and our law enforcement partners successfully put the brakes on this drug trafficking organization and put them out of business.”

Melissa, nicknamed “The Missile” for her aggressive riding style, has won the World Cup titles in ’97 and 98’, national titles from 1999 to 2001 and finally retired from downhill racing in 2003.

After being sentenced to 19 years in prison for the second degree murder of B-movie actress Lana Clarkson, music producer Phil Spector has literally and completely lost his wig. This mug shot was taken on Friday, June 5, 2009, in prison in Kern County, California.

Phil’s wife Rachelle Spector said: “They took my husband’s freedom and dignity. So why not his hair? This is a personal matter but in case you don’t know, they don’t allow for much accessorizing while in prison.”

The oldest daughter of actor Billy Bob Thornton, Amanda Brumfield, was charged with child neglect in the death of a 1 year-old child she was babysitting back in October 2008.

According to Amanda, the baby fell from the playpen, she cleaned its bleeding tongue, the two had a snack and had a snack. The two took a nap afterward but when Amanda picked up the baby it was unresponsive. The emergency call was done two hours after the fall but the Ocoee Police Department says Amanda’s story didn’t add up.

An autopsy was performed and it was determine that the child suffered a fractured skull and a subdural hematoma due to blunt trauma. Apparently Billy Bob hasn’t had any contacted with his daughter for quite some time but he has offered his condolences to the baby’s family.

A rep for Thornton sent TMZ this statement: “Mr. Thornton is estranged from Amanda and has had no contact with her for quite some time, however when informed about this situation he commented that, ‘Anytime a baby’s life is lost is an unimaginable tragedy and my heart goes out to the baby’s family and loved ones.’”

Amanda, the 29 year-old daughter of Billy Bob and Melissa Gatlin, was released from jail on a $2,500 bail.

Music producer Phil Spector, who was found guilty of second degree murder, was finally sentenced to 19 year to life (15 years to life for second-degree murder + 4 years for personal use of a gun) in prison for killing actress Lana Clarkson.

“Two And a Half Men” star Jon Cryer’s ex-wife, Sarah Trigger, was arrested this morning for felony child neglect at her home in Hermosa Beach, California. Sarah has been released on a $100,000 bail this evening.

According to sources, the child in question, who turns out to be Sarah’s two year-old son with her current husband and not Jon’s son, had rope or cord marks on his neck. The case is being investigated by the Department of Children and Family Services and the child is said to be “in a safe environment.”

Jon and Sarah tied the knot in 1999 to divorce five years later. Jon tied the knot again in 2007 with an entertainment reporter named Lisa Joyner (photos below).

“Big & Rich” country star John Rich turned himself into Nashville police to face charges that were filed by “Nashville Star” contestant Jared Ashley during the fourth season of the show.

John, who has been released from police custody, faces charges of misdemeanor assault and misdemeanor charge of harassment because he reportedly smacked Jared in the face. “I trust that the truth will come out through the process of our American justice system and that I will be completely exonerated at the end of the day,” John said in a statement.

Lindsay Lohan’s father, Michael Lohan, was quietly arrested on April 6 in New York. Michael reportedly made threatening phone calls to his fiance Erin Miller after she tried to dump him. Michael threatened to kill Erin and himself if she called off the engagement and he can now face up to a year in jail.

More bad news for NBA all-star Dirk Nowitzki.  The Mavericks forward was already none to happy to discover last week that his girlfriend and reported fiancee was a fugitive and on the run for the law.  Now comes word that Cristal Taylor found out herself, while being booked at a Dallas jail, that she is pregnant.

“They give you a urine test when you walk in and they give you a T.B. test,” she said. “And the lady was like, ‘Oh, so when are you due?’ I was like, ‘I don’t know when the court date is due.’ She was like, ‘Uh, no, you’re pregnant.’

“That was at intake. When I went upstairs, she said, ‘I’m going to start you on these prenatal vitamins.’ I was like, ‘If you could just test me one more time, I just want to make sure.’”

She was arrested on 8 outstanding warrants for theft of services and violating probation.  Taylor says she was afraid to tell Dirk about her past and is now scared and all alone.

“I’ve known Dirk for seven years — and, no, I didn’t tell him everything about my past because I was afraid,” Taylor said, according to the newspaper. “But I mean, now I’m pregnant and alone and broke because he is my only source of income.“

It’s bad when a woman says “he is my only source of income,” instead of he provides or takes care of me.”

I would say she kinda pissed away her meal ticket she had worked so hard on in landing Dirk, but this gets more complicated and disturbing with the news that she is carrying Dirk’s (or some other pro athlete’s) child.  If Dirk truly loves Cristal and they can reconcile, after she takes care of her legal troubles, then maybe this can work out the best for the couple and pending baby.

Taylor has a history of dating pro athletes. Former NFL quarterback Tony Banks says that he dated Taylor and that she tried to ruin his life.  Banks believes she went by the name of ‘Theresa’ when they dated back in 1997.

“This is unbelievable,” Banks told The News. “This is wild. I can’t believe it’s the same chick.”

It is hard not to feel for the big German right now.  He comes over to America to make millions of dollars playing basketball and gets sacked by this gold digger.

Many years ago people were given their last name based on their occupation or what they were best known for.  Former NBA player Corie Blount would have fit right in with the times.  Blount (Blunt) has been sentenced to one year in prison for two felony counts of marijuana possession.

“Cheech and Chong would have had a hard time smoking that much,” Judge Hedric told Blount.

The judge said that funny one-liner in light of the trafficking charge against Blount being dropped.

Comedian Robert Schimmel, who has appeared on Howard Stern’s show various times, was arrested for domestic violence on Saturday morning (May 2). Cops were called to his home and observed physical marks on his wife, Melissa Schimmel, that led to his arrest on a $50,000 bail.

Former NBA player Jayson Williams has been hospitalized and is on a suicide watch after we locked himself in his hotel room early this morning. Williams locked himself inside his Embassy Suites room in New York.

Williams accidentally shot his limo driver back in 2002. He was acquitted but is awaiting a re-trial on charges that he covered up the shooting.

Williams, to say the least, has had a string of bad luck since the shooting in 2002.

He played for St. Johns University in colleg before starring as a pro for the New Jersey Nets.

Former NFL player/Jacksonville Jaguars legend Jimmy Smith was arrested on multiple drug charges, which include felony possession of cocaine, possession of 20 grams or less of marijuana and “felony possession/sell of a controlled substance,” yesterday.

A jury in Los Angeles today found music producer-of-yesteryear Phil Spector guilty of second degree murder, for killing B movie actress Lana Clarkson back in 2003.

The mugshot, above, was taken today of Spector as he was booked and jailed.

Former Power Rangers star Skylar Deleon was charged with murdering an Arizona couple by tying them to an anchor and throwing them overboard their yacht into the ocean back in 2004 and sentenced to death today in California.

Skylar and his wife Jennifer Henderson murdered Thomas and Jackie Hawks, whose bodies were never found, and then scrubbed the boat clean with beach. Jennifer was sentenced with two terms of life in prison without parole.

Skylar Deleon had been also convicted of killing a man he worked with in 2003. Skylar’s defense was that he had a predisposition for violence because he was abandoned by his mother and raised by his drug dealer father. No excuse!!

There to support him were his sobbing mother and four bodyguards in case someone wanted to beat the crap out of Chris this time! Rihanna did not show up.

A second preliminary hearing was scheduled for April 29, which gives both parts time to discuss the case and work out some kind of deal, avoiding a trial. Rihanna’s attorney, Donald Etra, reiterated promises that his client will do “everything that the law requires her to do,” adding, “She would be pleased if this was over quickly.” So that means Rihanna wants a deal too and Chris will get nothing but a big slap on the wrist!
