A 22 year-old soldier by the name of Sean Christian Mathishas been arrested for allegedly threatening to kill Disney star Miley Cyrus near her movie set in Georgia this summer.
Mathis was arrested for making “terroristic threats” and disorderly conduct when he shouted to a Miley’s stunt double “Hey, it’s Miley Cyrus, I’m going to f**king kill you.” The soldier was later taken to his base by the military police and officials promised to proceed with the case. For the sake of Miley’s safety, we hope Sean gets real professional help because he can’t be mentally stable.
Rapper Lil Wayne pled guilty to attempted weapon possession after being caught with a gun inside a Louis Vuitton bag when police pulled over his tour bus in New York back in July, 2007.
Lil Wayne, who is expect to receive a one-year jail sentence, also faces felony drug possession and weapons charges in Arizona. Meanwhile, Wayne has become a father toLauren London’s baby boy (photos) and his girlfriendNivea Hamilton is also expecting his baby (photos).
Big Brother Season 9 winner Adam Jasinskiwas caught by the DEA with 2,000 oxycodone pills during an attempted drug deal in North Reading, Massachusetts, on Saturday (October 17). Adam was charged with possession with intent to distribute.
Adam, who admitted he used is his BB $500,000 winnings to fund a drug dealing business, may face up to 20 years in jail and a $1 million fine. The 2008 BB winner remains in police custody and his next hearing is scheduled on Thursday.
Steelers kicker Jeff Reed and Steelers back-up tight end Matt Spaethwere charged and cited by the police outside a bar a few blocks from Heinz Field a few hours after Sunday’s game (October 18).
When officers approached Matt, who was peeing next to a white SUV in the parking lot, Jeff got out of the SUV to defend his teammate and threatened them with a curled fist. Jeff was promptly handcuffed and charged with assault, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and public intoxication while Matt was cited for urinating in public.

Popular Miami club DJ Seasunz (real name Juan Carlos Portieles) has reportedly surrendered to the police for the brutal murder of his 18-year-old girlfriend Jaclyn Torrealba, who had been last seen at Space Night Club around 2 am on Sunday (October 11).
Seasunz walked into a police station Sunday night, led the police to a body in his car and turned himself in to authorities for the murder. According to reports, Seasunz and Jaclyn’s argument turned violent when he began ”to beat and bite [Torrealba] repeatedly and she fought back.” Seasunz then choked her ”until she stopped moving.”
Rapper Soulja Boy was arrested in Georgia for fleeing the scene where a music video was being shot when the cops arrived on Wednesday night (October 7).
Actor Nick Nolte’s son, Brawley King Nolte, was arrested for suspicion of DUI and possession of a controlled substance in Santa Monica on Tuesday (October 6).
The 23-year-old showed signs of impairment, so cops conducted field sobriety tests, arrested him and a $5,000 bail was set. Like father, like son… but Nick still has one of the most famous celebrity mug shots of all-time taken for his DUI arrest back in 2002 (photo below).
David Letterman on his Late Night with David Letterman show last night confessed to multiple sexual affairs with staffers and employees at the show.
The confession came during the revelation that allegedly Robert Joel Halderman, who works on the crime show 48 Hours had placed a package in the back of his car blackmailing him in hopes of extorting a $2 million check in exchange for not exposing Letterman’s multiple sexual affairs with staffers and embarrassing Letterman. Research shows that a Joe Halderman was an Emmy award winning producer from 48 Hours.
Most in the audience thought Dave was telling an extended joke, even as the story extended to nearly 10 minutes long. It did finally become evident towards the very end that Dave was serious, relieved that the blackmailer was locked up, and a bit uneasy admitting the sexual affairs to his audience.
He did a good job in mixing in jokes, being light, showing fear, and basically keeping his audience off balance, to where, for the most part, the news didn’t hit as hard as it normally would have.
One of his funnier lines: “I know what you’re saying,” he said. “I’ll be darned, Dave had sex.”
Dave recently wed his girlfriend Regina Lasko of nearly two decades back in March. The couple has a son, Harry, that was born back in 2003.
Letterman now has more in common with arch nemesis Bill O’Reilly than he would like to. The difference with O’Reilly being that he was allegedly extorted by a former female employee he had been sexual with on some level. A settlement was reached in that case. It will be interesting the next time ‘the Factor’ is on Late Night with good ole’ Dave Letterman.
Halderman will be charged with and tried for extortion.
Roman Polanski’s victim, Samantha Geimer, who was drugged and raped when she was only 13 years old has already sued the director, received an undisclosed settlement and recently asked for the case to be dropped.
Samantha filed court papers in January saying, “I am no longer a 13-year-old child. I have dealt with the difficulties of being a victim, have surmounted and surpassed them with one exception.
“Every time this case is brought to the attention of the Court, great focus is made of me, my family, my mother and others. That attention is not pleasant to experience and is not worth maintaining over some irrelevant legal nicety, the continuation of the case.”
Polish-French movie director Roman Polanskiwas arrested when he was trying to enter Switzerland to attend the Zurich Film Festival, which would honor him with a lifetime achievement award on Saturday (September 26).
The 76 year-old director has been living in France for decades to avoid the arrested warrant from 1978 on sex charges after being accused of offering alcohol and having sex with a 13 year-old girl during a photo shoot at actor Jack Nicholson’s house back in 1976. Roman then pleaded guilty to a single count of having unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor but fled the country before he could be sentenced.
Roman was put “in provisional detention” and authorities are working on his extradition to the United States. The victim, Samantha Geimer, has already sued the director, received an undisclosed settlement and recently asked for the case to be dropped (read more details).
Actor Randy Quaid and his wife Evi Quaidwere arrested for burglary (read more details) in Texas on Thursday (September 24). The couple looks pretty happy, smiling and laughing, while posing for their official mug shots (are they high?).
Randy and Evi already posted bail but not before sending TMZ a nice handwritten note and a copy of a cashier’s check ($5,546.96) from the Quaids to the San Ysidro Ranch, the place they allegedly had burglarized. There is something fishy about this story…
Actor Randy Quaid and his wife Evi Quaid were arrested in Marfa, Texas after an arrested warrant for for burglary, defrauding an innkeeper and conspiracy was issued today in Santa Barbara, CA on Thursday (September 24).
Presidio County Sheriff’s deputies claim the couple resisted the arrested and that Randy actually assaulted them physically and verbally. The couple apparently has a habit of staying in pricey hotels and then leaving without paying the bill. Their latest stunt was at the San Ysidro Ranch but they had already stiffed the Bel Air Hotel in L.A., among other places.
Former WWE champion Jeff Hardywas arrested after the police found a great amount of pills and steroids at his home in Cameron, NC on Friday (September 11). The Moore County Sheriff’s Office claims the 262 Vicodin pills, 180 Soma pills, 555 milliliters of anabolic steroids and a residual amount of powder cocaine have the estimated value of $2,500.
Jeff was charged with “trafficking in controlled prescription pills” and possession of anabolic steroids and the bail was set at $125,000.
San Diego Chargers linebacker Shawne Merrimanwas arrested earlier on Sunday (September 5) after cops responded to a call at 3.45 am local time from a distressed woman, Tila Nguyen aka Tila Tequila, who claimed to have been chocked and restrained.
Tila told the cops Shawne had choked her and physically restrained her when she tried to leave his home at Sage Crest Drive in Poway. The 27 year-old singer/model/reality star signed a citizen’s arrest at the scene, charging Merriman with battery and false imprisonment and was taken to Pomerado Hospital.
Former actress Maia Campbell is back in the news and entirely for the wrong reason. A new video has surfaced showing the once hottie actress selling her body and whatever else for crack cocaine.
Campbell is best known for her film role in Poetic Justice and role on the L.L. Cool J television show In The House.
Whitney Houston got clean in just enough time for Maia to delve down into the gutter and take her crack title.
Maia’s condition is compounded by her schizophrenia which she refuses to take medication for. She has also had to deal with the early death of her mother, Bebe Moore Campbell, back in 2006 at the age of 56-years old. Bebe was the acclaimed author of Brothers and Sisters.
