The Bachelor/The Bachelorette host Chris Harrison and his wife Gwen Harrison have announced they have amicably decided to separate after “much heartfelt consideration” and more than 18 years of marriage.

The couple said in a joint statement: “Though we have made this incredibly difficult decision to separate, our love and mutual respect remain, and we look forward to sharing in the lives of our wonderful children”

Chris and Gwen have two children together – 9 year-old Joshua and 7 year-old Taylor. The 40 year-old host will return to the TV screen with a new season of “The Bachelorette” starring Emily Maynard on May 14, 2012.

Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine and Victoria’s Secret supermodel Anne Vyalitsyna have split after two years.

Levine’s rep confirmed the news, as did Vyalitsyna herself, who said in a statement: ”Adam and I have decided to separate in an amicable and supportive manner. We still love and respect each other as friends. I wish him all the best.”

Peter Facinelli has officially filed for divorce from his wife Jennie Garth.

The two, who met on the set of An Unfinished Affair in 1996 and wed in 2001, announced that they were separated 15 days ago.

Facinelli, 38, cited “irreconcilable differences” on the papers filed in an L.A. County Superior Court. He has asked for for joint physical and legal custody of daughters Luca, 14, Lola, 9, and Fiona, 5. Both parties have agreed to pay legal fees.

According to the papers, the two officially separated on January 1, 2012.

Actress Jennie Garth and her husband, Twilight star Peter Facinelli, officially announced they have decided to break up after almost eleven years of marriage. They are expected to file for divorce soon.

Despite break up rumors running rampant since last year, the couple seemed to be keeping a united front up until they asked the fans to respect their decision and privacy in a joint statement.

“While we have decided to end our marriage, we both share the same deep love and devotion to our children,” the duo said in a joint statement.

“We remain dedicated to raising our beautiful daughters together. We ask for privacy and respect during this time.”

Peter and Jennie tied the knot in 2001 and they have three daughters together – 14 year-old Luca Bella, 9 year-old Lola Ray and 5 year-old Fiona Eve. Ironically, Jennie’s reality show “Jennie Garth: Little Bit Country” is set to premiere on CMT on April 20. Here’s a good reason to watch it.

Zeta Graff, a close friend of Cowell’s, told reporters the rumors of the split were indeed true. “Mezhgan was lovely but it was all too much for Simon,” Graff told The Mirror. “As soon as he hears the words ‘stability’ and ‘future’, I think it all became a bit too much.
