Randy Jackson asked if Jane’s father knew she was there. Daddy dearest does not only know his daughter his auditioning for Idol, but he fully supports her. Jennifer Lopez, who worked with the funny actor on “In Living Color”, was just shocked the little girl she once knew is now a fully grown woman, mother and singer.

Jane totally failed to impress. If she wasn’t her father’s daughter, I doubt she would get a ticket to Hollywood. Anyhow, she is not a bad singer, she’s just not good enough. Steven Tyler was just bored out of his mind. The judges give her some suggestions on how to improve and send her on her way to tell daddy Jim the good news.

The 13 year-old daughter of the late Michael Jackson, Paris Jackson, proved to be one of the sweetest and most down to earth young girls in her first solo interview for The Ellen DeGeneres Show, which will air on Thursday (December 15).

Paris talk to Ellen DeGeneres about her first movie role, her famous father and trying to live a “normal” life as any other kid her age. The tween admitted she first did not understand why her daddy made his kids wear ridiculous masks, but now admits he really just wanted to protect them.

Here are some highlights from Paris Jackson’s Ellen DeGeneres interview:

On Michael inspiring her acting: “When I was really little my dad was in the movie Moonwalker and I knew he could sing really well but I didn’t know he could act. I saw that and I said, ‘Wow, I want to be just like him.’ ”

On Michael’s acting “lessons”: “We would do improv together. He would give us little scenarios. He would (say), ‘OK, in this scene you’re going to cry’ and I’d cry on the spot.”

On going to a traditional school: “I love it. It’s definitely a different experience. … I do have like a regular childhood. I mean, I’m treated the same. When I came to Buckley (her school) they didn’t know who I was. I was like, ‘Yes, I have a chance to be normal.’ ”

On being forced to wear a mask as a child: “Yeah, I’m like, ‘This is stupid; why am I wearing a mask?’ But I kind of realized the older I got, like, he only tried to protect us and he’d explain that to us, too.”

On Michael’s most memorable words to her: “He said, ‘If I die tomorrow always remember what I told you.’ I took his advice and I remembered everything he told me.”

Paris Hilton’s younger brother, Conrad Hilton, was involved in a minor car accident, hitting two parked cars in Brentwood, California on Saturday (November 19). The 19 year-old, who had reportedly just left the Key Club in West Hollywood, was speeding and the whole accident was caught on tape (watch video below).

According to TMZ, Conrad hit one car with enough force for it to strike another parked vehicle (a Mini Cooper), left his car behind since it was in no condition to be driven, exchanged information with the owner of one of the cars and fled the scene before cops arrived.

Did Conrad have something to hide? Probably. However, he was lucky enough to not cross paths with the nice police officers who would have most likely performed field sobriety tests. Conrad is not even going to be ticketed since he left his info with the owner of the car he hit.

Thursday, the third day of trial in Dr. Conrad Murray‘s involuntary manslaughter case, a witness testified that Michael Jackson‘s daughter, Paris, witnessed her father’s death.

Alberto Alvarez, a member of Jackson’s security team at his home, testified that while Dr. Murray tried unsuccessfully to resuscitate Jackson, his daughter screamed for him. ”Paris screamed out, ‘Daddy!’ ” Alvarez said. ”She was crying.”

Alvarez saw Jackson lying with his palms up, his eyes slightly open and his mouth agape. As Dr. Murray gave him chest compressions, he yelled, ”Don’t let them see their dad like this.”

Prince and Paris were crying when Alvarez said,”‘Kids, don’t worry, we’ll take care of it. Everything’s going to be okay.’ Then I asked Dr. Murray what happened and he said, ‘He had a bad reaction.’ ”

Later in the day, Kai Chase, Jackson’s personal chef, testified about the children’s response, too. ”The children were crying and screaming and the next thing we did was we started hugging, we held hands and we stared praying,” Chase testified. “We didn’t know what was going on but the energy in this house did not feel good,” she said.

All of this is terribly sad. I’ve been watching the trial daily and it’s so hard to see those testifying try and keep it together.

Anderson, who was only 21 years old at the time, clearly sees his mother as a source of inspiration. “You have survived so many things,” he says. “It hasn’t made you tough. It hasn’t hardened you. You’re still open to experience and open to new loss and open to new heartbreak and to new love.”
