Actress Portia de Rossi and comedian Ellen Degeneres are set to wed now that the California Supreme Court has overturned the gay marriage ban in Cali. Ellen made the announcement on her talk show yesterday to a cheering audience.

DeGeneres made the announcement Thursday, according to the Associated Press and TMZ (which first reported the story). The news came hot on the heels of a judicial ruling that struck down California’s laws against gay marriage.

De Rossi, 35, was reportedly in the studio when DeGeneres – who just celebrated her 50th birthday – made the announcement before a cheering audience. (The episode is scheduled to air Friday.)

In what’s sure to be a controversial decision, the California’s Supreme Court ruled that people have a fundamental “right to marry” the partner of their choosing – therefore the previous ban on gay marriage was ruled unconstitutional.

This is going to be a long battle within the state of California. Those against gay marriage say they have enough signatures to get the issue put back on the ballot for voters to vote for an amendment to the constitution.

Actress/model Liv Tyler and Brit musician Royston Langdon have announced their separation and intention to obtain a divorce. The two have one child, Milo, together.

“Liv Tyler and Royston Langdon have confirmed their separation. They remain good friends and devoted parents to their son Milo and are requesting that their family’s privacy be respected at this time.”

About time Liv livened up about this chump. Liv was at her best in Aerosmith’s ‘Crazy’ video alongside Alicia Silverstone (see video below).

Cynthia Rodriguez says that her slugging baseball husband Alex Rodriguez is a big wimp when it comes to doctors and the birth of their first daughter.

“The one nurse had a cold cloth on his head. The other nurse had the blood pressure on his arm. And my mother was like rubbing his back. And he is passed out on a couch. And I am there, in the middle of labor,” Cynthia Rodriguez, wife of the New York Yankees star, said on an episode of the YES Network’s “YESterdays” that is scheduled to be broadcast Wednesday night.

“And really, I am not being paid much attention to besides the doctor and a couple of nurses,” she said. “And he is there moaning. In between pushing, I am going, `Honey, are you OK?’ and `Are you breathing? Are you OK?’ “

Are any of us really surprised about A-Rod being a bit wimpy?

After an extremely rough week of alleged affairs with multiple women, Roger Clemens apologized publicly to his many fans.  He said he had already apologized to his wife and family.

“I need to say that I have made mistakes in my personal life for which I am sorry,” Clemens said in a statement handed to the Houston Chronicle, a favorite outlet for Clemens and his lawyer Rusty Hardin.

“I have apologized to my family and apologize to my fans,” Clemens said. “Like everyone, I have flaws. I have sometimes made choices which have not been right.”

Clemens made it clear he is not admitting to using performance-enhancing drugs.

The apology follows a week where Clemens was outed for affairs with country star Mindy McCready, Pennsylvania realtor Angela Moyer, and John Daly’s ex-wife Paulette Dean Daly.

Roger Clemens has been accused this week of having affairs with an under aged Mindy McCready (read story), Angela Moyer (read story), and now John Daly’s ex-wife Paulette Dean Daly according to the NY Daily News.

The sources said Clemens, a married father of four, arranged trips to Anaheim Stadium for Daly - the latest woman to emerge as an alleged Rocket flame - to watch him pitch forthe Yankees against the Angels. Sources also said he spent time with her in Palm Springs, Calif.

The pair met at the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic, a Palm Springs golf tournament that Paulette Dean Daly has been involved with for many years - including stints as a “Classic Girl,” one of the beautiful women who help in ceremonial duties at the event, sources said.

“Yeah, I’ve known Roger quite a while and we are friends,” Daly said yesterday.

But was it romantic between Roger and Paulette?

She declined to elaborate on the nature of her relationship with the pitcher, but did not deny allegations from several sources that it was romantic and included financial support.

Hollyscoop is reporting that R&B star Beyonce Knowles is pregnant with rapper/husband Jay-Z’s baby. You probably remember their very strange and rushed wedding just four weeks ago. Well there likely was a reason for the nitro wedding.

A source close to the couple revealed, “Beyonce is 100% pregnant, which is why the couple rushed their wedding.” The source also told Hollyscoop that all the friends and family that attended the ultra private wedding were all aware that Beyonce was already expecting.

Our source added that Beyonce is in her early stages, but don’t expect this star to come out with a confirmation statement anytime soon.

Realtor Angela Moyer is being reported as another woman that pitcher Roger Clemens had a long term affair with for several years during his playing days according to the NY Daily News.

Moyer, a 30-year-old Realtor who lives in the Harrisburg, Pa., area, worked as a bartender from 2000 to 2004 at Sutton Place, a yuppie East Side watering hole. That’s roughly the same time the pitching legend played for the Yankees.

Moyer acknowledged she knew Clemens, but has declined to discuss the relationship. She was spotted driving up to her father’s apartment house last night, but said only “no comment” when asked about Clemens. She then sped off.

Country singer Mindy McCready confirmed a report earlier this week that she and the ‘Rocket’ had a 10-year affair that possibly began when she was just 15-years-old.

“I cannot refute anything in the story,” a tearful but resolute McCready told the Daily News, which broke the story at midnight Sunday.

The News reported that the two met in a Florida karaoke bar when McCready was a 15-year-old aspiring singer and Clemens was a 28-year-old ace for the Red Sox and a married father of two.

“Yes, I have known Roger Clemens for a long time,” McCready said, reading from a prepared statement. “He’s a kind and caring man. He’s also a legendary athlete. The central topic in the debate, however, regards his professional life, not his personal life.

I could have never in a million years predicted that Mindy McCready’s extremely troubled past few years were could be tied to the ‘Rocket’.  I believe it is fair to say that she has many issues that have caused some of her addictions and problems over the past year that likely came from her underage romance with Clemens.

The New York Daily News is reporting that baseball pitching great Roger Clemens had a 10-year affair with country singer Mindy McCready that began when she was 15-years-old and lasted for more than a decade.

Roger Clemens carried on a decade-long affair with country star Mindy McCready, a romance that began when McCready was a 15-year-old aspiring singer performing in a karaoke bar and Clemens was a 28-year-old Red Sox ace and married father of two, several sources have told the Daily News.

The revelations could torpedo claims of an unsullied character that are central to the defamation suit Clemens filed Jan. 6 against his former personal trainer Brian McNamee. Vivid details of the affair could surface in several media projects that McCready is involved with - including a documentary that begins filming today in Nashville, a new album and a reality show.

Roger’s lawyer Rusty Hardin has confirmed their was a long-term relationship between Roger and Mindy but says it was not sexual in nature.

Contacted by the Daily News Sunday through his lawyer Rusty Hardin, Clemens confirmed a long-term relationship but denied that it was of a sexual nature.

“He flatly denies having had any kind of an inappropriate relationship with her,” Hardin said. “He’s considered her a close family friend. … He has never had a sexual relationship with her.”

Roger and his lawyer are not always the two most believable sources when it comes to veracity from Clemens’ past. If this is true and Clemens did start something romantic with McCready, when she was 15, then it could be ‘Jerry Lee Lewis’ devastating for the ‘Rocket’.

McCready has been in and out of jail for numerous reasons over the past couple of years. Her actions could be interpreted as someone lashing out from sexual abuse as a child or minor. She was sentenced to a year in jail and two years of probation last fall.

If ture this could be a coup for Brian McNamee in his defamation defense against Roger.

This year has been very tough for Roger’s wife Debbie Clemens. She was brought into the middle of his steroid controversy. She admitted to getting HGH shots from McNamee and now she is having to hear about an alleged affair between her husband and a country singer.

Vertically challenged Gary Coleman and his wife Shannon Price are heading to Divorce Court to get some marital advice from Judge Lynn Toler.  This couple has been chugging up hill since they said their vows.

Among the problems the pair discusses with Judge Lynn Toler are Coleman’s anger and intimacy issues. Coleman and Price agree they have “ugly” monthly fights.“If he doesn’t get his way, he throws a temper tantrum like a five-year-old does,” Price says, according to a transcript of the show obtained by The Associated Press. “He like stomps the floor and yells, ‘Meehhhh,’ and starts throwing stuff around. He bashes his head in the wall, too.”

Coleman says he gets frustrated because “the male is always the bad guy.”

What a backhanded slam by Price saying, “he throws a temper tantrum like a five-year-old does.”  There is no need to say that Shannon, just because he looks like a five-year-old doesn’t mean he is acting like one.  That would be like my wife saying, “My husband gets so pissy like a white person.”

The couple secretly wed last fall and kept their marriage private and away from the tabloids for several months.

Supermodel Heidi Klum is not one to hold back and be discreet with any details.  She is now saying that her first date with husband Seal was so naughty that she can’t even come close to disclosing it.

“We went somewhere very nice for dinner — it was very good but I can’t tell you exactly what we did,” she told Pop Tarts last week with a cheeky smile. “It would be too naughty and you can’t run it anyway. It would just be bloop bleep bloop bloop bleep. But it was a very good first date. …”

Super Bowl winning quarterback Eli Manning and Abby McGrew got married at the exclusive Palmilla resort down in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

About 60 loved ones flew to Mexico to join Manning and his bride for the intimate ceremony at the One&Only Palmilla, a swank resort along the Sea of Cortez on the Baja Peninsula.

Manning, 27, and McGrew, 24, exchanged vows while standing on a platform in the sand as waves crashed over rocks behind them.

The bride, carrying a bouquet of white roses, made her entrance through a wrough-iron gate and walked down the aisle to an altar covered in pink wildflowers.

McGrew looked splendid in a strapless white gown with gold embroidering and a large bow and short train in the back.

Way to go Mr. Manning and Abby for getting married at the Palmilla.  The One&Only Palmilla in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico is where the BumpWife and I got married back in 2005.

Ivana Trump, ex-wife of real estate mogul Donald Trump, tied the knot Saturday evening with Italian entrepreneur Rossano Rubicondi, her spokeswoman Catherine Saxton said.

The wedding took place at Mar-a-Lago, Donald Trump’s opulent seaside mansion in Palm Beach. The estate also hosted the billionaire’s wedding to Slovenian model Melania Knauss in 2005.

Donald Trump, whom she divorced in 1990, attended — as did their children.

“Ivanka was the maid of honor and her two sons gave her away,” Saxton said.

Also among the almost 600 guests, hotel heirs Rick and Kathy Hilton, the parents of Paris; and singer-songwriter Neil Sedaka.

Trump, 59, and Rubicondi, 36, have been together for about six years, Saxton said. They got engaged in September.

For the record, he didn’t marry her for her money.  Yeah, right.

Vanilla Ice (Rob Van Winkle) has been ordered by a Florida court to stay away from his wife after he allegedly pushed her last night during an argument.

Vanilla can phone her, but that’s all, folks. Ice can only have contact with his kids through one of his friends — at least for now. And, he can go to the house to pick up his stuff, but only once and with a police escort.

Ice was charged with misdemeanor domestic battery.

For those of you in a coma the past twenty years, Ice rose to fame in the early 90’s with the hit rap song ‘Ice Ice Baby’.

The on-again/off again divorce between Robin Wright Penn and husband Sean Penn is off again according to court papers.

Penn, 47, and Wright Penn, 42, filed divorce papers in December after 11 years of marriage.

Rumours of a reconciliation began when Penn and his wife were also spotted at an Eddie Vedder concert in San Francisco on Tuesday night.

The couple married in 1996 and have two children together.  They announced their split back in December.  Sean had been romantically involved with supermodel Petra Nemcova during their split.  He reportedly dumped her to reconcile with his wife.

Patrick Swayze responding well to pancreatic cancer treatment.  Swayze is ‘thrilled’ and encouraged by how his body is responding to the treatment according to PEOPLE magazine.

“We’re thrilled and grateful for the positive response Patrick has shown towards his treatment,” the Dirty Dancing star and wife Lisa Niemi tell PEOPLE.

“Also, we can’t help but feel that all the prayers, meditations and good thoughts sent his way by everyone has made a difference. Thank you!” said the couple.

Swayze and wife Lisa Niemi say they are very thankful for everyone’s prayers and support since the public became aware of Swayze’s cancer back in early March.

Anytime you can give Elvis Presley another grandchild you gotta go for it.  Michael Lockwood has done just that by knocking up his wife Lisa Marie Presley.  LMP is expecting Teddy Bear #3.

Lisa Marie has two children already, daughter Riley, 18, and son Benjamin, 15, with ex-husband Danny Keough.

Unfortunately Lisa had no children with former husbands Michael Jackson and Nicholas Cage.

Congrats to Lisa and Michael (Lockwood) on their first baby together.   No word just yet on how far along the pregnancy is.

Well we likely don’t have to worry about being startled from a leaked sex tape from Gary Coleman and his new bride Shannon Price. We reported just a couple of days ago that the two lovebirds secretly wed nearly nine months ago. Now both bride and groom are both saying that they haven’t had sex yet.

The newlyweds have now admitted that they have not yet consummated their marriage. In layman’s terms, they’ve never done the horitzontal mambo. “It’ll happen when it’ll happen. And it’ll happen for all the right reasons. And no one is going to make it happen any sooner,” Gary says of not getting any ass from his young wife after nearly a year together.

Well that is not much different than most marriages after the honeymoon. I am pulling for this couple and I am really hoping that Gary and Shannon get lucky together soon. They can always check out Kim Kardashian’s sex tape for sex-piration.

Different Strokes mini-star Gary Coleman secretly wed Shannon Price nearly eight months ago in Nevada. Price wanted to keep the nuptials secret to protect her privacy.

“Nobody was around but the minister, preacher, the videographers, the photographer, the helicopter pilot and us,” Coleman, 40, said on Tuesday’s broadcast of the program.

Coleman met Price on the set of the 2006 comedy “Church Ball.” Price said it was she who proposed to Coleman, but that he surprised her on her birthday by whisking her to a mountaintop in the Valley of Fire State Park to exchange vows.

She said they kept their wedding secret because she wanted to keep being seen as her own person.

Coleman is 18-years older than Price. She is nearly a foot taller at 5′7″.
