NBA all-star Ray Allen, who plays for the Boston Celtics, married his longtime girlfriend/fiancé Shannon Walker Williams on Saturday night at Martha’s Vineyard in Massachusetts.

Allen married his longtime fiancé Shannon Walker Williams (Girlfight, Century City), at a private home in Martha’s Vineyard on Saturday August 16th. Joining the couple was Singer/Songwriter, Brian McKnight for a special musical performance. Guests included the couples three children Tierra, Ray III and Walker as well as close family and friends.

As reported here on Friday, actress Portia de Rossi and comedian/TV host Ellen DeGeneres married yesterday in Los Angeles before a small and intimate crowd according to People magazine.

DeGeneres, 50, and de Rossi, 35, both wore Zac Posen and exchanged rings by Neil Lane during the Saturday ceremony. Their big day also featured arrangements by L.A. florist Mark’s Garden.

The intimate ceremony was attended by 19 guests, including DeGeneres’s mom Betty and de Rossi’s mother Margaret Rogers (who flew in from Australia for the occasion), who witnessed the couple exchange handwritten vows.

Portia and Ellen had been dating since 2004. They made their intention to marry public once the California Supreme Court ruled gay marriage legal in California.

Actress Portia de Rossi and comedian Ellen DeGeneres are getting married on Saturday according to US Weekly.

The pair are planning a small, intimate ceremony with only a few close friends and family.

Following the California Supreme Court’s monumental ruling that same sex couple’s have the “right to marry,” DeGeneres announced she planned to wed her longtime girlfriend on a taping of her show in May.

“It’s something that we’ve wanted to do and we want it to be legal and we are very, very excited,” DeGeneres, 50, gushed.

The couple has been planning their nuptials for the past couple of months. They first announced their intention to get married back in May.

Shock jock Howard Stern and the beautiful Beth Ostrosky are getting married this fall in October. Roger Friedman is reporting that Kelly Ripa’s husband, actor Mark Consuelos, will marry Howard and Beth.

Yes — Mark Consuelos, the actor and husband of Kelly Ripa, is getting ready to marry Howard Stern. That is, to Beth Ostrosky. The wedding is set for October, although sources are buzzing that Howard and Beth may have some kind of civil pre-wedding this weekend in the Hamptons.

Beth told me on Saturday that Mark is an ordained minister. He may have become ordained just for this reason. Who knows? Will Regis be in attendance? Beth said, “It’s not that kind of thing. It’s spiritual.”

So the answer is, having Mark perform the ceremony is not to get publicity. They’re going to get it anyway. For the record keepers, Howard’s last wedding was 30 years ago, in 1978.

Sounds like it will be a big ball of media hype and fireworks for Howard and Beth!

Teen mom Jamie Lynn Spears is planing to marry boyfriend Casey Aldridge by the end of this year according to OK! magazine.

Now OK! can exclusively reveal that the former Zoey 101 star has already started planning her wedding, and that she and Casey will walk down the aisle together before the end of the year.

Despite their worldwide notoriety, the young couple won’t be swapping their vows at some 5-star celeb-filled resort, but will be sticking close to home. Jamie Lynn’s new house is in Liberty, Miss. — just 30 minutes from her mom Lynne Spears’ house, Serenity, in Kentwood, La. — and it sits on three acres, which is more than enough space to put up a tent for a private, late fall ceremony.

Jamie gave birth to a baby girl, Maddie, on June 19th in Mississippi.  Her maid of honor would very naturally be big sister Britney Spears.

NHL player Dan Hinote married Jenny McCarthy’s kid sister Amy McCarthy in Keystone, Colorado over the weekend according to The Big Lead.

St. Louis Blues defenseman Dan Hinote got hitched over the weekend to gorgeous pin-up Amy McCarthy - well, to get all technical, she was a cyber pin-up at Playboy.com.

Guests at the wedding were asked to dress in 1950’s costumes which meant that Jenny’s boyfriend Jim Carrey got to be his nutty self in a communist kind of way.

The wedding party of 10 groomsmen and 10 bridesmaids wore traditional garb for the ceremony, but the guests were asked to show up in their favorite ’50s costumes, which would explain the dead celebs who attended the wedding.

Castro, in full military garb and a fake beard, was among the last guests to arrive, which seemed a bit odd because he had a reserved front-row seat on the bride’s side. After the nuptials, Mr. On the Town spotted Castro walking arm-in-arm with the bride’s sister, actress Jenny McCarthy, out to the parking lot.

Was it? Could it have been? Yup, superstar Jim Carrey, Jenny’s beau, slipped in and out of the ceremony almost undetected except when Jenny’s 5-year-old son, Evan, started getting spooked by the get-up. “It’s me, Jimmy,” I was told that Carrey said while pulling down his beard to soothe the troubled young ‘un.

I have to say I would be a bit weirded out with someone dressed as Fidel Castro in the front row at my wedding.  Marriages between hockey players and Playmates have an expiration date of four years or less.  But we are hoping that Dan hits many high notes with Amy over the next half century.

American actress Mena Suvari is engaged to music producer Simone Sestito.  The two met and started dating last year in Toronto.

The 29-year-old actress met Sestito last year at the Toronto International Film Festival while Suvari was promoting her film Stuck.

“They’re taking their time planning the wedding,” says a source close to the actress. “They are in no rush.”

Suvari is best known for her work in American Beauty, American Pie and American Pie 2.They have yet to set a wedding date.  Congrats to Mena and Simone!

Former ‘Bachelor’ Andrew Firestone finally walked the aisle on Saturday, as he and his beautiful bride Ivana Bozilovic, tied the knot in at St. Mark’s Church in Los Olivos, California.

“We’re so happy right now we can hardly stand it!” the couple tell Usmagazine.com exclusively. “It is so special to be able to share this momentous day with our family and friends.

“It couldn’t have been more perfect,” the couple added.

After kissing the bride, Firestone’s cousin and niece led the processional in a rendition of “Livin’ on a Prayer” by Jon Bon Jovi.

Firestone was ABC’s third ‘Bachelor’ and proposed to Jennifer Schefft at the end of the show. She moved with him to Cali after the show, but they called it quits back in 2003.

Funny guy Chris Kattan, best and perhaps only known for his work on Saturday Night Live, married Sunshine Tutt today in Yosemite Valley, California according to People.com.

The former Saturday Night Live cast member, 37, started dating Tutt, 31, in the spring of 2005 after meeting her at a birthday party. He proposed on Christmas Eve 2006 at her grandparents’ home in Gainsville, Texas.

Congrats Chris on marrying one of the best names I have heard of in a long time.

Comedian Ellen DeGeneres says that her and her partner Portia de Rossi have set a wedding date and are planning their upcoming nuptials according to OK! Magazine.

“Yes, we have set a wedding date,” she confessed. “Portia has a ring. It’s a Neil Lane ring.”

Ellen, who also revealed she plans to fly Portia’s mom in from Australia for the ceremony, was eager to talk about her upcoming nuptials admitting that , “planning a wedding is stressful.”

She also joked about the size of the guest list, joking that her many Emmys “will be on top of the cake,” and that the wedding is now so big “my gardener is invited.”

Portia is an actress who is best known for her most recent work on Nip/Tuck along with Arrested Development and Ally McBeal.

DeGeneres and Portia announced their intention to wed last month when gay marriage in California became legal.

Former Alabama quarterback Jay Barker married award winning country singer Sara Evans on Saturday evening in Franklin, Tennessee.  Evans’ 9-year old son Avery walked her down the aisle.  All seven of their children (from prior marriages) made up the attendees.

The short ceremony featured Nashville songwriter Marcus Hummon, a close friend of Evans’s, singing “God Bless the Broken Road,” the Rascal Flatts hit he wrote – a song that the couple says has deep meaning for their relationship. Christian minister Joe Beam, who was responsible for introducing the couple last fall, performed the ceremony.

Evans, 37, wore an ivory silk taffeta Vera Wang gown with a halter neck and Barker, 35, wore a Dolce and Gabbana suit. The black-and-white affair (guests were requested to wear black) was accented with hints of yellow roses, and the sophisticated décor was given a down-home twist with a menu catered by Constant Craving featuring Southern fried chicken, country-style pole beans, biscuits and macaroni and cheese.

The presence of fried chicken, macaroni and cheese, and biscuits have to make it one of the greatest wedding receptions of all-time.

Evans and Barker announced their engagement just back in March.  They have been dating since last fall.

OK! Magazine has the first photos from Charlie Sheen’s recent marriage to Brooke Mueller.  The newlyweds married last Friday in Los Angeles.

But on May 30, none of that seemed to matter as Charlie,42, and Brooke,30, exchanged vows under a low hanging canopy in front of 68 guests including Sheen’s parents Janet and Martin Sheen, brothers Ramon and Emilio Estevez and three daughters Cassandra,23,(from his first marriage) Sam,4, and Lola,3.

Celebrity event designer Yifat Oren incorporated nature themes for the couple’s wedding theme and reception, using bowls of pears, oranges and chocolate-hued candles to adorn the dining tables.

At one point a beaming Charlie grabbed the microphone and told guests, “I would like to introduce you to Mrs. Charlie Sheen. We did it, didn’t we?” Later a 14-piece rock band played as everyone danced at the groom’s request.

“I was telling a couple of friends last night that this feels like my first real marriage, Charlie confessed to OK!. “The first one was a show, the second one was a con, and this one is the real deal.”

Maybe the third time will be the charm for Charlie!

Hollywood bad boy Charlie Sheen married Brooke Mueller on Friday at a private residence in Los Angeles. The two had been engaged for almost a year.

Mueller, 30, and Sheen, 42, exchanged vows in front of about 60 close friends and family. Among the guests were Grey’s Anatomy star Eric Dane and actress Rebecca Gayheart, who first introduced the couple in 2006.

“Brooke really wanted to walk down the aisle in a big way, but Charlie insisted they keep it simple and small,” says a source.

The Two and a Half Men star proposed to Mueller in Costa Rica last June, presenting her with a $500,000 custom-designed 11-carat yellow diamond and platinum ring from jeweler Lord Alon Barak.

Brooke is hoping to get pregnant soon (likely to secure payments for life). Charlie already has three daughters from prior marriages.

Sheen has three daughters with (2) Denise Richards and (1) Paula Proffit (they never married).

What Ashlee and Pete’s Emo Baby Will Look Like

Fantastic Four actress Jessica Alba married long-time boyfriend Cash Warren at a secret ceremony at the Beverly Hills courthouse on Monday according to Alba’s rep. Brad Cafarelli.

According to a source, they were married in the Beverly Hills courthouse’s ceremony room under an arch of green silk foliage and white flowers. They were casually dressed, with Alba wearing a long blue dress and her hair back in a ponytail.

Alba and Cash-daddy are expecting their first child later on this summer.  The two met during filming of Fantastic Four.  Warren was an assistant on the set.

Actress Loni Anderson married folk singer Bob Flick on Saturday in Los Angeles.  Folk was a founding member of The Brothers Four.  The two had met several years ago at a movie premiere

Flick met Anderson at a movie premiere in her native Minneapolis a few years after his group hit No. 2 on the pop charts with “Greenfields” in 1960. A local newspaper had sent her out to pose with the group as the “lucky young fan,” an image that was used Saturday night as the couple’s wedding poster, her publicist, Cheryl Kagan, told The Associated Press.

Anderson was given away by her son, Quinton Reynolds, with who she adopted with ex-husband Burt Reynolds.   She is 62-years-old and was married to Burt from 1988-1993.

Manufactured pop star Ashlee Simpson married Pete ‘Emo’ Wentz on Saturday night at her parents home in Encino, California. Invited guests had been asked to wear dark colors to the wedding.

Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz have told their guests “to dress in dark colors” to their nuptials on Saturday, a pal of the couple revealed to Usmagazine.com.

“[Guests] have been asked to wear cocktail attire, but to not be overdressed,” added the pal.

On Thursday, crews erected a massive white tent with bright red curtains in the backyard of Simpson’s parents’ Encino, California home.

I can’t wait to see these wedding photos to see what these two clowns wore. If Simpson wore a black dress or something non-traditional I will get a good laugh.

UPDATE:  It appears Mrs. Simpson opted for a lovely ivory dress in a wedding that even included Pete’s dog as ring bearer.  Papa Simpson (the orchestrator) even officiated the affair.

Simpson, 23, wore an ivory lace wedding gown by Monique Lhuillier accessorized with a diamond necklace and earrings by Neil Lane as she and Wentz, 28, exchanged vows in front of 150 guests at her parents’ Los Angeles area home.

Dad Joe Simpson performed the non-denominational ceremony, while sister Jessica served as maid of honor. Wentz’s English bulldog, Hemingway, was the ring-bearer. Guests included Jessica’s boyfriend, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden, as well as actor Donald Faison with girlfriend CaCee Cobb.

No word if Ashlee had LIVE music at the reception (or used a backing track).

First daughter Jenna Bush married Henry Hager at President Bush’s sprawling ranch in Crawford, Texas, on Saturday night. Maid of honor was Jenna’s twin sister Barbara. Best man was Henry’s brother Jack Hager.

The music was provided by wild man band leader Tyrone Smith.

The president and the bride picked “You Are So Beautiful” for their father-daughter dance, according to band leader Tyrone Smith of Nashville, Tennessee. Smith and his 10-piece party band, The Tyrone Smith Revue, was asked to do “Lovin’ in My Baby’s Eyes” by Taj Mahal for the newlyweds’ first dance. Smith, who promised the couple a “get down” party, talked to The Associated Press earlier in the week on condition that the information not be released before the wedding.

I have never laughed so hard reading a story. Tyrone, better known as ‘Super T’, with his superman-like cape use to play at the SAE fraternity house back in the late 90’s. We use to have him and his crew as often as we could until we went broke, were placed on probation for hazing, and then went even more in the red building a new fraternity house on Greek Row.

Smith, who witnessed the wedding ceremony, said afterward the groom was dressed in a dark blue suit with powder-blue tie and the bride wore a “very simple and elegant” white dress, but did not wear a veil.

There is no way I would have ever believed a decade ago that ‘Super T’ would be explaining to the press what the President’s daughter and her groom wore at their wedding. Congrats to Tryone…I have a feeling that the Bush’s paid him and his band a lot better than Sigma Alpha Epsilon did back in 1997.

In researching this post I discovered that Tyrone has recently played at the White House as well.

PEOPLE magazine has learned that the beautiful Scarlett Johansson is engaged to actor Ryan Reynolds. The two had been dating for over a year.

“They’re both thrilled,” Johansson’s rep Marcel Pariseau tells PEOPLE.

Reynolds, 31, currently filming the aptly named The Proposal in Boston with Sandra Bullock, recently popped the question to Johansson, 23. The couple have not set a wedding date.

Reynolds previously had a long term relationship with singer Alanis Morissette.
