Lady Antebellum’s Hillary Scott and her fiancé, drummer Chris Tyrell, have tied the knot in an intimate ceremony just before sunset in Upstate New York on Saturday (January 7). The newlyweds announced the news with a video with images of their big day on the band’s official website.

Hillary says, “We got married! We just wanted you to hear it from us first. We love you. We’re so excited to be starting our life together and we just had to let you in on the exciting news.”

The 25 year-old bride wore an beautiful strapless mermaid wedding gown with hand-applied crystal and pearl beading and a mantilla veil with Chantilly lace appliqué designed by Vera Wang, while the Chris wore a grey suit, black shirt and grey tie by Ermenegildo Zegna.

Hillary and Chris became engaged after he went down on one knee and popped the question at sunset in Tennessee on the Fourth of July weekend. Fellow Lady A member Dave Haywood is also going to get off the market soon since he is engaged to Kelli Cashiolla.

American Idol alum James Durbin and his longtime girlfriend Heidi Lowe have exchanged vows in front of 85 guests in a private ceremony held at a chapel in Santa Cruz Mountains on New Year’s Eve.

“We are so in love and happy that we got to share our special day with our closest family and friends,” the couple tells People exclusively. “This wedding was the perfect way to kick off the New Year. We are looking forward to living happily ever after.”

The lovebirds obviously couldn’t have been happier to finally tie the knot. Heidi and James’ 2 year-old son Hunter was the ring bearer. The wedding reception attended by fellow Idols, Haley Reinhart, Casey Abrams and Stefano Langone, was held at a local community hall described as a “little bit country, little bit rock ‘n roll.”

The newlyweds were surprised by the special appearance of Geoff Tate, the frontman of metal band Queensrÿche, who performed one of the couple’s favorite songs, “Take Hold Of The Flame” (1984), during the reception.

Controversial figure skating champ, Johnny Weir, is a happily married man after he finally tied the knot with his boyfriend, Victor Voronov, in an intimate ceremony in New York City on December 30, 2011.

Johnny’s rep said in a statement: “The couple exchanged handwritten vows in the company of loving parents, Tony and Lili Voronov and Patti and John Weir. The couple has taken the new surname, Weir-Voronov, but professionally, Johnny will continue to be known as Johnny Weir.”

The 27 year-old former Skating With The Stars judge announced the big news on Twitter. Johnny also promised to celebrate his wedding in a more proper matter with a big party this summer.

Johnny tweeted, “I’m married! Wedding in summer! But all the official stuff is done now! No more livin’ in sin!” Adding, “Johnny and Victor will have a large wedding in July 2012 to celebrate with friends and family.”

The statement in itself is controversial since gay marriage is considered sinful to pretty much every religion out there. But who cares when it’s true love. If Kim Kardashian can ‘sham’ a marriage, why can’t two people in love also have the right to get married no matter the gender, religion or social status.

“Marrying Victor has been the greatest moment in my life and I will work very hard to make him proud and happy,” Johnny said in a statement. “As an added benefit to all this joy, marriage gives your skin an amazing glow. I look forward to making a home for my family in Bergen County, New Jersey, and introducing my world of glitter and Faberge eggs to Victor.”

“I am so happy to have found my match. Finding someone to share your life with is one of the most important things a human can do and was preached to me by my mother. Victor is the epitome of a gentleman, as handsome as he is clever and loving. Our road to marriage has been a fast one, but one I never waivered on. Survivor host Jeff Probst and his girlfriend, actress Lisa Ann Russell, have tied the knot in an intimate ceremony attended by close friends and family members at a private residence in Los Angeles, California earlier this week (on December 5).

The 50 year-old host was previously married to psychotherapist Shelley Wright (1996 – 2001) and dated Survivor contestant Julie Berry for four years. Lisa was married to “Saved By The Bell” star Mark-Paul Gosselaar for more than 15 years before they separated in May 2011.

Lisa has two young children, 7 year-old Michael and 5 year-old Ava.

Jeff is set to host his 24th season of “Survivor” before the debut of his own talk show in 2012.

Lauren Bush Lauren, who recently wed David Lauren, shares her amazing wedding gown in the December issue of Vogue magazine.

“Any experience of a girl picking out her wedding dress is amazing,” Lauren told the magazine. “But I have to say it was really special to work with [husband David Lauren's] dad, to see him in action with his team.”

The bride-to-be casually shared ideas for her wedding gown with her soon-to-be father-in-law before their first official meeting in his studio in June. “I walked in, and there were these beautiful illustrations of the looks we’d discussed with my face on them,” she recalls. “It was like a dream come true.”

The result, Lauren says, “isn’t Victorian exactly. I wanted something modern as well, so there is the high-necked collar and puffed shoulders with the large open back.”

As PEOPLE details, “The top layer of the dress was made of tulle in antique ivory; nearly 100 craftspeople spent more than 3,000 hours hand-embroidering the tulle with motifs of flowers and Renaissance-era scroll designs in ivory silk and metallic thread, Swarovski Elements crystals and off-white pearl beads.”

The wedding took place at a 200-year-old barn on Ralph’s Double RL Ranch in Colorado, so Lauren decided to pair her gown with cowboy boots, while her bridesmaids were dressed white linen blouses, vests, vintage prairie skirts and cowboy boots, too. “They looked like Little House on the Prairie,” she said.

What a dress! I would love to see a picture of Lauren along with the bridesmaids. Can you imagine?!?
