Walt Disney Studios has started work on a new Mary Poppins movie.
The film won’t be a remake of the original Mary Poppins but instead will be based on Saving Mr. Banks.
Saving Mr. Banks is ‘a behind the scenes look at how the popular Disney film ‘Mary Poppins’ came to be,’ according to IMDB.
The film will star Tom Hanks, Colin Farrell, Emma Thompson, and is being directed by John Lee Hancock.

Actor Colin Farrell reportedly broke up with his girlfriend/baby mama, Polish actress Alicja Bachleda-Curus, due to his unexplained fear of commitment. Colin is a free spirit and the idea of marriage scares him.

Model Meghan Lowther’s boyfriend had a bit of fun slamming actor Colin Farrell after he after made a weak attempt at his girlfriend.

Colin asked, “Who is this guy?” Lowther replied, “He’s my boyfriend.” Farrell then told the guy, “You’ve got the most beautiful girl in the place, and you can’t blame a guy for trying.” The boyfriend replied, “You tried. Now get out of here.”

It appears that actor Don Johnson who shot to fame starring in the original TV series Miami Vice is not that impressed with the casting of Colin Farrell to play his role in the movie Miami Vice that opened #1. Here is Farrell’s response when asked if he talked to Johnson about playing his role.
I tried but he never returned my call. But Jamie met him at a restaurant in LA and Don said: ‘You tell Colin Farrell, when he’s through with my jockstrap to give it back.’ And I never got the jockstrap either. I was waiting every day by the post box.
I think I just became a Don Johnson fan.
Colin Farrell has been sober for six months since his recent stint in rehab, but he is not confident in how long it will last.
He says, “I won’t say I’ve given up drink for good – I’ve said too many ‘for goods’ in my life that didn’t last. I haven’t had a drink for six months. I had to stop. I was burning the candle at both ends, and it finally met in the middle. And I can’t do that any more because I don’t just have myself to think of now, I have my son, too.”
