‘The View” co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck slammed Dancing With The Stars contestant, ESPN reporter Erin Andrews for her revealing wardrobe choices after being victim of a peephole stalker.

Elisabeth said, “In light of what happened … and as inexcusable as it was for that horrific guy to go in and try to peep on her in her hotel room … I mean, in some way if I [was] him, I [would be] like, ‘Man! I just could’ve waited 12 weeks and seen this — a little bit less — without the prison time!’”
This has to be one of the dumbest things we have ever heard. Elisabeth managed to offend women in general all over the world. So if I wear a bikini at the beach, it would be fine for a man to stalk me, violate my privacy and post nude videos of me all over the internet!?! Seriously!?!

On the other hand, I kind of understand what Elisabeth was trying to say. Erin was a victim of a stalker, a pervert, so should she being exposing herself on TV so soon!?! It doesn’t matter what she is wearing. Anyway, there’s NO excuse for Elisabeth’s mean comments.

Erin’s partner Maksim Chmerkoskiy came to her defense, tweeting, “I’m the one designing [Andrews'] dresses for the show, so I’ll just assume that [Hasselbeck] is jealous… and stupid….” Several other DWTS dancers and contestants showed Erin their support.
Erin was very hurt by the mean comments, of course. Erin said, “I think people can have opinions about the show, but my biggest complaint is she’s a woman and a mother and it was a mockery of something I’ve lived through this last year. … I felt like it was a slap in the face for victims of stalkers and victims of sexual predators.”
After being vicious attack by everybody and their mommas, Elisabeth offered a tearful apology following one very mature conversation with her 5 year-old daughter. “She’s so cute, she said to me, ‘Mommy, why don’t you just call Erin and tell her you’re sorry?’ ” Hasselbeck said. “So, thankfully, I listened to her — she’s a wise little girl — and I did. So, I’m really sorry, and I wanted to offer that publicly too, even though I did follow that advice.”
Despite the tears and the drama, that was a very lame excuse (watch video below). Clearly, Elisabeth’s daughter can distinguish between right and wrong better than her mother.
